I've never understood the "death cult" solution to finite resources and a growing population. Had these eugenicists spent that time instead developing technology to accompany a growing population and their needs we wouldn't have this problem. I believe the death approach is to ensure that they remain in control of a "manageable"-sized population.

I don't think our purpose in life is to destroy.   We are supposed to create. That's what our thoughts, will and intent are for. What they are doing goes against the natural process of things. Our population will be controlled by natural processes. We don't need self-assigned gods to tamper with life on this planet. As it stands now, if we have an extinction level event that takes out 90% of life on earth, the human species may not survive to rebuild civilization due to the damage the "scientists" are doing to our genes/DNA, fertility, etc.

It's the height of arrogance and for lack of a better word, evil.
