I hadn't read Schlafly's columns in a while. :-) She's one of those people who committed the two political sins of
A) recognizing the long-term dangers of having any and every thing made overseas (by nations *known* to be hostile to the U.S.) just for the sake of low, low prices, and ...
B) pointing out the idiocy of these policies without regard to whether an R or D was in charge.

So, of course, she was long ago branded as an isolationist and shoved off into a corner.

This is the first time I have seen her work. She must be from the old school of reporting on telling it like it is no matter who is involved. I like reporters like that. They are few and far between these days.
