I'm Good

Published:

The first thing I saw today was Sandy K's,. post about the young lady in Iraq.  As I read her thread, I could feel Sandy's emotion and concern.  I paused and I prayed.  I was reminded of everyone who prayed for me and my son.  I have been able correspond to my son by email and I have heard from him at least every other day.  Though my heart is full I certainly understand the sorrows of war as I never have before, but more-over, I understand the power of prayer and the positive mind set.  It is quite moving to me even unto today that a stranger can care enough to pray.

Father,

I pray to become more compassionate in my life and to live each passing day with consideration in praying for others as they have prayed for me.  Amen.

Amen-I think working in a nursing home has made me more compassionate and understanding-life is short and we all should show some compassion for others

You are absoloute! Things that I thought matter the most, matter the least and the least matters the most. I am enjoying things in a way that I never have before and the very essence of my life is changing before me. I cheerish when I am made to feel warmth from the words and caring for others. I do so appreciate your comment.
