I realize mining has issues dealing with the enviroment. But mining can or should work with gov't agencies to maintain enviromental issues.
It's all part of mining in the 21st century.

You decide why the senator resigned.
I would say she should be concerned with her families health issues being attacked like she was.

There's MSHA & EPA, for what they're worth. The mining company will take its jobs elsewhere and for less headache, the union members will find out how many of their expenses are paid for by that union boss.
