nope,i'm retired and enjoying something i worked for 30 years,weekends,evenings,graveyard shifts,holidays,not many work like that nowadays,everyone seems to want every weekend,holiday,nights off.not wealthy but self sustainable.have earned a good retirement,and do enjoy.though i do pay for government insurance,it is worth itas the government pays some of it too,i only pay 600 dollars a month.only gets tight if gas/heating oil goes up.water went up 67% and going up more by 13%.it's not over til you're 6 feet under,or cremated!

thats true.i have an expensive health insurance as my wife has a debilitating disease.cicatritial pemphagoid,hardley believe anyone on here knows of it.her sinus mucosal cavities dryingup.no tear glands at all,so i watch her squirt eye drops into her eyes all day long everyday,or her eyes would freeze up and she'd be blind.at night she wears special goggles like an underwater person would wear.

thanks maddog,she stays fairly stable as she takes steroids every day,and avoids people gathering so she doesn't pick something up,and stays outa the sun.i would have retired in n.j. a more exciting place but the climate and air is better here for her.

Well, I do hope a cure can be found. From what I understand there are so many things that can aggrivate it that it becomes second nature to try and avoid things that do.
