well,i know in the northeast,we have very bad air from the coal burning out west,and it comes right across overhead in the weather patters every day.the environmentalists i know lobby congress over this bad breathing for health costs.a lot of toxins in those coal fired factories,furnaces,that are delivered into jetstreams overhead.but,it doesn't hurt the red state areas.
