The Most Business Despising President In History

President Obama’s “you didn’t build it” gaffe just defined the 2012 campaign. It succinctly encapsulates the president’s prejudices about the public versus the private sector. Though the president has frequently mouthed platitudes in praise of enterprise, his suspicion and contempt for business has always percolated just beneath the surface.

Of course, the president is partially correct, in a banal sort of way. Yes, roads, bridges, firefighters and teachers are essential prerequisites to establishing an environment in which business can operate. So are peace and freedom — for which we must thank the military.

But the president doesn’t understand that a critical aspect of good government — and an essential ingredient for stimulating economic growth — is not just roads but rules of the road. As economist John Taylor reminds us, steady, predictable and permanent rules permit business owners — and individuals — to plan for the future.

Republicans blocked the bill that will give business tax credits up to $500,000 for boosting payroll and extended for a year a 100 percent rate under which businesses claim bonus depreciation tax deductions on capital investments. But Republicans called the bill insufficient as policy and overly political, and opposed cloture Thursday over the complaint that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid barred on an open amendment process.

And then they turnaround and say that Obama is the most business despising president in history. They want the incentives to go to the billionaires and not the small business man. Deceitful to the America people.

barry just wanted to say he did this so the Republicans can take the heat. A complete cover-up like everything else this tool does. If you had the brains, you would look and see when this bill was presented.

He could care less about the Business's in this country, almost as much as we don't care about your lies making him a messiah...

Anyone who can overlook the Veterans of this country, not once, twice , but three times and then stand up for Ramadan , doesn't even deserve a mention in the minds of most intelligent people, excluding you and your crew tenaj.

What the hell !are you people talking about ? Do you live in the same universe,what you mean he overlook Veterans of this country ! Really! really! what the hell has the "First Lady and Phd Biden been doing ,i guess playing house! hum!! Seriously do you surrogate think we are going to just be silence while the hate mongers spew their venom on the President and his policies ,there would have been on it 's way to a stronger economy. He had to bring this country out of a hell of a fix ,thanks to George Bush and his greedy cronies. Eyes wide! wide! open.

Defend why did the Republicans block the small business man bill, the jobs bill and the welfare bill without insults and attacking me. I'm tired of slamming your heads to the floor board. The dust is getting in my nose.

No amount of trying to blme it all on the Republicans can cancel the fact that obama is full of hot air and does nothing but make empty promises and try to make policies to ruin this country.

among other things, Obama has never shown up at the annual D-Day Memorial, and his tampering with don't ask - don't tell has driven a lot of career people out of the military and helped to increase sexual assaults by more than 22%. The first lady grabbing every photo-op she can with military people is nothing but that, photo-ops.

As for 'hate mongers', obama hates this country and the military. The c.iches of the left don't work here, nice try though. I guess you're 'appalled'.
