Non-union electrical workers turned away
Published:
With millions still struggling to get power in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, non-union work crews from Alabama have been turned away by New Jersey. The reason? Their non-union status.
Thanks Obama! How stupid are the people running things in NJ to turn away help when people are still without power. These same people from Alabama came to my home town in July to help with the damage from a massive wind storm we had in late June.
Comments
They like Obama, can't see past their noses when it comes to outside help.
They also did the same thing in Conn and N.Y. when Irene slammed us. It's pathetic that unions have to have the final say so, that's why so many people are against them....!
They are willing to make their own people suffer until you join the union.
You are not allowed to think for yourself or deviate from the way the Democrats want to do things.
EVERYBODY has to think and act the same.
They were calling them scabs and scum bags and accusing them of taking food away from their families. What a GD disgrace for New Jersey.
And where the hell was Christie on this deal?
