Non-union electrical workers turned away

With millions still struggling to get power in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, non-union work crews from Alabama have been turned away by New Jersey. The reason? Their non-union status.

Thanks Obama!  How stupid are the people running things in NJ to turn away help when people are still without power.  These same people from Alabama came to my home town in July to help with the damage from a massive wind storm we had in late June.

NightStalker, they weren't turned away by the State, if anyone turned them away it was the democratically controled unions here in NJ.
They like Obama, can't see past their noses when it comes to outside help.
They also did the same thing in Conn and N.Y. when Irene slammed us. It's pathetic that unions have to have the final say so, that's why so many people are against them....!

They came to help their fellow man, and the union thugs decided that the people should suffer in the name of the Union, how sad.

Help is help and it shouldn't matter if they are union or not. This is exactly why Obama and his union cronies need to go.

This is the way it should be in the eyes of Obama and the Deomocrats.
They are willing to make their own people suffer until you join the union.
You are not allowed to think for yourself or deviate from the way the Democrats want to do things.
EVERYBODY has to think and act the same.

I heard the audio on the radio of the union guys screaming at the guys who had come all the way from Alabama to help get the power back on.
They were calling them scabs and scum bags and accusing them of taking food away from their families. What a GD disgrace for New Jersey.
And where the hell was Christie on this deal?
