Non-union electrical workers turned away

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/hurricane-devastated-nj-town-rejects-non-union-alabama-electrical-workers/

With millions still struggling to get power in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, non-union work crews from Alabama have been turned away by New Jersey. The reason? Their non-union status.

Thanks Obama!  How stupid are the people running things in NJ to turn away help when people are still without power.  These same people from Alabama came to my home town in July to help with the damage from a massive wind storm we had in late June.

9-12-12

Bowling night!  It's been a busy week.  I've been mowing the last two nights after work and I had to come into work early today.  I did find a little time to work on my numbers, but I don't know how well I will do.

Here are my numbers for tonight:

2,4,6,7,11,21,22,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,32,33,34,37,40,41,42,43,45,49

I hope there is a winner in there some where.

I've started work on a worksheet that will help me expedite the number picking process.  Rather than turn the pages of my notebook to look at each number and its stats individually, I'm going to put a couple of different numbers on the worksheet so I can do some calculations quicker.

Building the Pairs table is going to take a long time doing it by hand.  I will be lucky to get it done by the end of this year.  Working on it is just mind-numbing because it's so boring.  I've got 9 pages containing all of the draws for the Classic and I'm going to put each one on a separate piece of paper and then combine them when I get it finished and then add the finished product to my spreadsheet, which I will then manually update after every draw.  I'm hopeful I will be able to get some useful info from it.

9-10-12 Classic Lotto

I did finally get around to posting some predictions.

Here are my numbers for tonight:

3,4,6,7,9,14,16,17,19,21,22,24,25,28,29,30,34,35,36,37,39,40,41,48

I really don't like having this many numbers, but I haven't figured out how to effectively narrow the list.

2 of 4 out of 6

I only got 2 numbers right out of the 4 that were drawn that were within the last 10 draws.  The other 2 were out 12 and 15 draws.  Didn't have them.  At least all six weren't within the last 10 draws.  I have to remember to put my numbers on the blog so I can show what numbers I have been picking.

Still Working

I haven't actually played any numbers for a couple of months, but I have been trying to hone my skill at picking numbers.  I have been only getting 2,3,or 4 right out of the numbers that I have been picking.  I think I could just randomly pick numbers and do that well, especially with a 24 number wheel.

Initially, I was just going to pick numbers that were within the last 10 draws, but that limits the numbers you are using.  Most of the draws do not have all six numbers from the last 10 draws.  So, I have been trying to use all the numbers.  I am using averages and games out stats to help decide what numbers to pick, but I feel like I'm missing something.

It has gotten worse since this past Monday (8-27).  I did pick all six numbers correctly.  They were in my group of 24.  I was picking the numbers on Sunday night before bed and I was really tired.  I had 23 numbers and I just wanted to finish and go to bed.  So I looked at my percentage chart and at just decided to pick a number that hadn't been picked in the last 10 draws and was a neighbor to a number that had been picked in the last draw.  The last number I picked was 29.  It came in.  I have no idea why I picked it, and now that random act is leaving me with more questions.  Is it just going to take a random act to win?

One improvement that I did make when looking at games out averages is that if the number 8 is out 13 games and it has been drawn 5 times 13 games out and the number 8 has been drawn 96 times, I divide 96 by 6 rather than 5 because if it hits it would be the sixth time.  I think this has helped.  But again, something seems to be missing.

All I can do is keep at it.

I was right!

I knew that tonight's Classic Lotto would have all six numbers picked from the last 10 draws!  I did pick some numbers for the predictions here on LP and I even did a large wheel and printed it out just in case I had time to fill out some bet slips.  Of the numbers that I had picked out, I only had 4/6 again, so while I was right, I wasn't right enough.  But, it does at least help me in my prediction process, and with that every little bit helps.  Another positive:  no one hit the  Classic, so the jackpot will continue to go up.  It will probably be another six to nine draws before the conditions are right again to play the big wheel, so that could mean a JP of over $10 million!

4 out of 6!

So I played my big wheel (I loved that thing when I was a kid!!) and I only had 4 of the 6 numbers in my wheel and so my results were less than what I had hoped for.  I was pretty sure that the 6 numbers drawn would be from the last 10 draws and so I wheeled what I thought was a pretty good group.  I did win a total of 8 dollars (4 tix with 3/6).  I was hoping for one that was 4/6 but it didn't happen.  Oh well.  I believe that tonight's Classic will contain all 6 numbers from the last 10 draws as it hasn't happened in almost a month.  I picked the numbers yesterday, but didn't have time to fill out the bet cards.  Not sure I will have the time to do it today, either.  Today might be another lost opportunity.

The Time Could Be Right

The Classic has now gone eight draws without having all six be from within the last 10 draws, so I believe that the time may be right for a big wheel.  I was thinking that it was going to be last night or Saturday night and I had planned on picking some numbers for last night's drawing but, the time I thought I was going to have, I ended up not having it at all.  So, maybe things have worked out for the best.

Missed Opportunity

I missed an opportunity this past Saturday night on the Classic.  I had a feeling that all six numbers that would be drawn would all be from within the last 10 drawings and they were.  I have the money already set aside for a pretty large wheel, I just needed to wait until I felt the time was right.

I am going to guess that it will be two to three weeks before all six drawn will be within the last 10 drawings.  So, the JP might be up another million.  $8.2 million will still be enough to live on for the next 30 years!  Banana

Long Weekend

I was very busy at work and did not have a chance to post any possible numbers for the Classic.  I am hoping to get caught up tonight and post some numbers for tomorrows Classic drawing.  I feel like I missed a big chance on Monday's drawing, but there will be other chances.

A Little Better!

Alright!  I did get three numbers in the last draw!  Yes, it was only worth $2, but it is a step in the right direction!  Now, to get 4 or 5.  That would be fantastic!  And then I'll get all 6!

Quick Pick

3,4,6,9,20,25,27,29,33,34,39,46

Still trying to figure out the best way to pick some longshots.  But these numbers look good to me for tonight.

Fail Blog!

I'm thinking that 'Fail Blog' might be a better title name at this point.  Again I only got ONE number right.  The only way to improve is just to keep at it.  I certainly hope that I have time to pick some numbers before Wednesday's drawing so that I can keep up the process of eliminating numbers and picking the right numbers, I'm just not sure how much more time I am going to have between now and then.
