When I was in the service we didn't have any choice. You got the flu shot whether you wanted it or not. A million other shots too to cover you for any disease present in any country you might wind up in.

And I used to get sick usually within 2 weeks of getting the flu shot everytime. And everytime they would tell me it wasn't from the shot, that it was impossible to get it from the shot. Ooooookaaaaaay.

I don't think the real danger in the shot is from the virus though, I think it's from all the mercury and other crap that comes with it.

The actual concept of a vaccine is not the problem.

However, we think the concept has been corrupted.

Hand washing is safer than a flu shot.

I'm 61 in poor health i get a flu shot every year- never got the flu from a shot, However have got the flu from kissing girls at party's playing with the kids after they came home from school, shaking hands with rude people who are sick and cough in their hands then shake yours, in bars or crowed places where sick people cough in your face or near me/you touching any surface where the germs might be and then touching your eyes, mouth or nose is a sure way to catch the flu even if you got a flu shot.

Healthy people can get the flu and let it run it's course probably 3 weeks worth with no problems. People with some varying medical conditions who get the flu usually end up in a hospital bed very sick some die there some get pneumonia.

It really comes down to your health status and if you're allergic to eggs they recommend not getting the flu shot.

Vaccines are dangerous and their primary goal is to lower morbidity for population control. If you've had a lot of flu vaccines in your life, you probably also have a lot of other health issues brought on by the ingredients in vaccines.

The truth is that the same percentage of people get the flu whether they have had a flu shot or not. Flu vaccines have yet to be proven effective. Tamiflu is only effective at reducing illness time by one day. Is it worth it?
