If the president can sign an executive order to confiscate gold any other president can do the same.
The president could just as well sign an executive prder to confiscate anything.
Yeah run this country in debt. It is working out quite well ehh Mr President.

I believe there is more to this than just an Executive Order. I believe Congress also passed a law outlawing the possession of gold, a law designed to support the Executive Order.

But I am recalling this from a brain which has lost over 2 million brain cells. And I am just too lazy to research the issue. Got to go take my nap now.
