I do not see the reason for the feds to get involved here. They are assisting the states to collect sales tax. The feds are the ones intruding on a states soverign right as I see it.

This is so stupid. The stores around here don't stock what I need so I have to order it by mail or internet. When I do that I have to pay shipping. Shipping is more than the sales tax would be *IF* I could buy the stuff here. Now they want to tack the Michigan 6% sales tax on top of that! This makes real good sense because now I will have less money to buy food, gas and the things I can buy locally.

Yay, a payroll tax hike AND a sales tax hike all within a year!
