We have been thru four drawings and we have six drawings left.  I am in shock that we have only won $5.00 on two of our winning draws.  I couldn't even purchase us another multi-draw ticket to last us until the end of our drawing.  I would have needed $6.00 to do that.

The Mega Millions jackpot for the drawing on Friday, May 12, 2006 is:

$80 million ($45 million cash option)

The Ohio Web Site (http://www.ohiolottery.com/) gives us a slightly lower Cash Option, which we will use.  There are 48 members in this game, with 54 shares being sold.  The estimated cash value of this jackpot is

$44,868,160

I will be off again on Friday, but work on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  So you're next update may not be until next Wednesday.  If we win anything in Friday Night's drawing, I most likely could NOT pick up the money until Monday before going to work, however I couldn't scan them and get another newsletter out until after the drawing on Tuesday Night or Wednesday Morning.  So I may just wait until Wednesday to collect our money and get more tickets.

I have a new person joining us in Game 26.  If I only have people from this game paying me for the next game, I can delay the starting of the next game as long as I like.  But, when you have a new person, or rejoin coming aboard, you have to give them a firm date.

Game 26 will start on Tuesday June 6th, 2006.

Are They Back?

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose, still heavily sedated from a difficult, four hour, surgical procedure.

A young, student nurse appears to give him a partial sponge bath.

"Nurse", he mumbles, from behind the mask. "Are my testicles black?"

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body and feet."

He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, are my testicles black?"

Concerned that he may elevate his vitals from worry about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and sheepishly pulls back the covers.  She raises his gown, holds his penis in one hand and his testicles in the other.

Then, she takes a close look and says, "There's nothing wrong with them, Sir!"

The man pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her and says very slowly, Thank you very much. That was wonderful, but, listen very, very closely.....Are - my - test - results - back?

that joke was real funny. lol.

your results are about the same as my results with mega million. it seems to be much harder to hit than powerball. i wish your group much luck and a bigger win. post some more of these. i like reading about other mega and powerball playing players.

This has been my largest group ever. I've been playing this game for 2 years, and my frist group was 7 players. Now, I have 46 people and 3 from Out of State. 2 of the Out of State Members have Mega Millions in their state, but one lives in Wyoming, which has NO State Lotterys.

It's been fun, but sometimes depressing. My smallest group has won more money than some of my larger groups. This can be very dishearting, since you feel that if you have a lot of numbers you should be winning a lot more money.

But, Hell, it's a lottery, right?

Glad that you liked my joke. I put a joke and end of each of my newsletters.

Michael
