I agree. But it really doesn't matter, they can track your every move despite not using Google. I stopped using Google a while back not because of their tracking, but because they changed their tool bar search box into a smaller box. I never had Twitter, and deleted my FB account last year.

I say they track your moves because when I search for something on yahoo, I start seeing ads from those companies on websites just about everywhere I go. Even on LP I see ads from companies I was searching recently involving cars. We're past the point of hiding. The only solution is what some influential person said when the Internet was being introduced, I forget who, but he said to avoid the Internet like the plague. He had foreknowledge of the privacy end of it.

use only "Start Page" for searches and their proxy links from there, it's great!!!!! No spying!!
