It should be called "Fake coverage for stupid people that will let you down when you really need it"

Plausible example -

You are in the Hospital for two weeks and you need six weeks to recover so you cant work for 2 months. Those 2 weeks just happen to be in two different insurance years so you have to pay the $12,700 out of pocket for both years at the same time so that's $25,400 and because you don't have sick days you don't get payed for 2 months while incurring at least $25,400
over and above your normal expenses..yup that's real affordable isn't it?

The coverage that I have now and want to keep would cost me $0 for those two weeks.
