Eleven lucky Georgia Lottery players boarded a flight on Monday to travel from the Peach State to the Golden State with the Georgia Lottery's Mega Road Trip promotion.
As the Georgia Lottery Corporation continues to welcome California to Mega Millions, the Georgia Lottery has awarded 11 trips for two to California to see the Atlanta Braves play the San Francisco Giants.
Georgia Lottery President and CEO Margaret DeFrancisco and the Mega Millions Mega Ball mascot were at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to congratulate Mega Road Trip winners and to see them off. Winners cheered, waved and posed for pictures with Mrs. DeFrancisco and the Mega Ball before boarding their flight.

The Georgia Lottery is teaming up with the Atlanta Braves, Delta Air Lines and Marriott International for the Mega Road Trip promotion. Georgia Lottery players entered a Mega Millions second chance drawing for the opportunity to win one of 11 trips for two to the West Coast to watch the Braves play the San Francisco Giants.
Grand Prize packages include: two round-trip tickets on Delta Air Lines from Atlanta to San Francisco; three-night, double-occupancy hotel accommodations provided by the San Francisco Downtown Marriott; two tickets to each of the Braves vs. Giants games on July 18, 19, and 20; and $300 spending money.
Tonya McDuffie says that when she and her family learned that she was a Mega Road Trip winner, "We were all in there dancing!"
