Pennsylvania LotteryPennsylvania Lottery: All four PA Lottery raffle jackpots claimed

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — All four of the $1 million top-prize winners from the Pennsylvania Lottery's July 4 Millionaire Raffle drawing have claimed their prizes.

The fourth and final winner to claim her prize, Louise Whitmire of Latrobe, Westmoreland County, presented her $1 million winning ticket at the same location where it was purchased, Latrobe Center Distributing, Inc., 1032 Latrobe Thirty Plaza St., Latrobe, Westmoreland County.  The ticket was validated at Lottery headquarters in Middletown last week.

James Van Osten of Hatboro, Montgomery County, and Joanne Russo of Farmingdale, N.Y., separately presented $1 million winning tickets at the Lottery's regional office in Philadelphia last week. The tickets were validated at Lottery headquarters in Middletown.

Van Osten purchased his winning ticket at Acme Market, 808 E. Street Road, Warminster, Bucks County. He checked three different sources to verify the winning numbers before presenting the ticket to Lottery officials for validation.

"It still hasn't sunk in," Van Osten said. "I think it will take a while."

Russo purchased her winning ticket at Gerrity's Supermarket, 320 Meadow Ave., Scranton, Lackawanna County. She and her husband plan to use the money on their children's college education and invest toward their retirement.

"I think we can rest a little easier now," said Russo.

On July 13, Donna Cantwell of Lumberton, N.J., claimed her $1 million prize. Cantwell purchased her winning ticket at SN Food Mart, 80 E. Oregon Ave., Philadelphia.

Retailers will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling a top-prize-winning raffle ticket.

The four $1 million top-prize raffle ticket numbers; four $100,000 second-prize ticket numbers; 100 prizes of $1,000 each; and 5,892 prizes of $100 each — a total of 6,000 prizes — came from a pool of 500,000 tickets that were sold between April 27 and July 4.

The four $1 million top-prize raffle ticket numbers selected were: 00101931, 00201179, 00364562 and 00381511.

Also, four prizes of $100,000 were awarded.  Those raffle ticket numbers were: 00038421, 00118345, 00309508 and 00351240.

This was the eighth Millionaire Raffle drawing.
