Pennsylvania LotteryPennsylvania Lottery: First Penn. Lottery Raffle $1 million prize claimed

A Bucks County, Pennsylvania, man has become the first to claim a $1 million top prize from the Pennsylvania Lottery's Dec. 30, 2006, Millionaire Raffle drawing.

John Maier of Churchville presented his winning raffle ticket at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County. Maier bought his winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 932 Street Rd., Southampton, Bucks County. The store will receive a $5,000 selling bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The remaining four top-prize winning raffle tickets were sold at Genuardi's Family Market, 200 Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, Montgomery County; Tom's Riverside, 526 Main St., Rimersburg, Clarion County; UniMart, 1960 Adams Ave., Tyrone, Blair County; and Speedy Meedys Inc., 1697 University Dr., Dunbar, Fayette County. Each of these retailers also will receive a $5,000 selling bonus. The holders of the remaining top-prize winning tickets have not yet come forward.

A complete list of all 750 winning raffle ticket numbers is available at the Lottery Post Web site: http://www.lotterypost.com/specialresults/pa-lottery-raffle-2006.asp. The numbers are listed by prize category in ascending order.
