The law of attraction is a mighty thing...

GamerMom,

The Law of Attractions is only half the story.

Unless someone couples the law of attraction with the law of detatchment they create a "prison of expectation" for themself.

In other words, they become obsessed with something materializing just because they've mentally attempted to manifest it.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

"not sure what you meant about the 'iraq' comment,  can you explain?"

It was an effort to point out that the number of references to a specific country that you observe as you move through your life will tend to be proportional to the country's involvement in and interest to the world at large.  If for some reason Kiribati had initially caught your attention rather than France, I doubt if we would be having this discussion.

oh,  got it now Thumbs Up

i totally get what you are saying,  and i already addressed that concern from 2 different angles.

i made the notation when i was having a conversation with joker that if he wanted to take my "theory" out for a test drive himself,  that he could do it by picking a a term that was common,  but yet had just enough "randomness" in it that he wasn't going to stumble across it every 5 min.

you know terms we all could come up with that cross the line of "commoness" vs "probability", to make it rediculously easy to remove the probability factor,  and turn it into an expected result.

joker chose "pumperknickle",  and i implored him to pick something way more common to give himself more of a fair chance at this.   so you see,  i stacked the odds of my claim against me,  as i should do while factoring in my claim.

certainly,  no one can make the claim that france is so common in our society that it makes the 'that's far too common' dismissle.

we live in the US,  and while the mention of france is not UNcommon in our sphere of existence,  it surely doesn't qualify as an everyday occurance term.   certainly not everyday for nearly 3 years in a row,  not anywhere close to being "that common".

if God deemed it necessary,  a purple pageant donkey from kiribati would come across the course of my life everyday for 30 years.

in this case,  for an eventual specific reason,  it happens to be france.

the joker / pumperknickle thing was cute,  but WAY too random for my taste,  considering what i am offering up as an attached claim.

it should be easier for him,  so with him living in florida,  maybe he shouldn't pick "florida" as his barometer test subject,  but certainly "california" is a 1,000 times more common than france any day of the week.

now that would be a fair test.   more common than france,   and see how many days he goes with it occuring while going thru the normal course of his day.

remember the premise here that does seek to qualify this ----->  nearly 3 years in a row daily,  and "unbroken"

italy.   italy is probably on even par with the commonality factor of france in this country.  maybe even more so.

see how many days in a row you can experience that,  and get back to us.

                "i am .........."meant to"

and just to be straight,  i wasn't bagging on gamermom's belief in the "law of attraction",  she has an equal foot to stand on in here.

what i was doing is making sure no one attempted to attach the "law of attraction" to what is happening to me, and there was that possibility,  that someone reading that might write it off to that,  thereby minimizing it's origin

that is 100% not what this is,  and no one can duplicate it with incorporating that mindset (or any other),   so i needed to protect the integrity of "how" it is happening to me,  so that God gets credit above some "methodology"

i am reading an article about lance armstrong running into tyler hamilton (what are the odds...lol) at a restaurant in aspen.

it was a french restaurant,  but,  what i thought was more funny is that i suggested to jimmy that he pick "italy" as his test drive.

        look at the article.

it initially says "itallian",  then who ever wrote the article crosses out italian,  and writes french instead.

who writes an article,  and intentionally puts a slash mark thru it,  then retains it ?

        that's a little weird

i just thought it to be a bit funny given the previous conversation

All joking aside VISION, I have to either give you credit for what happened to me today, or cough it up as coincidence.

There's a new channel that premiered in Southwest Florida last week called "MeTv" Stands for "Memorable Entertainment Tv".

They show old sitcoms and westerns from the late 60's to the mid 70's, some even late 50's like Gunsmoke. Anyways, today I was watching Laverne and Shirley on that new channel, and both Laverne and Shirley were dressed up in French maid uniforms in order to act as workers in a hotel where a famous singer was staying, so they could get as close as possible. I didn't pay too much mind, even though in the back of my head I remembered your French stuff.

After that show came on "My three Sons" . The storyline revolved around Ernie having ESP. Then that old 70's show "Family Affair came on after laverne and Shirley. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears when I remembered that the butler was named Mr. French. That just totally blew me away.

You can check it online If you don't believe me. You can see their line-up from earlier today...maybe...I dunno.

I have to say that was weird, but if you think about it, anyone who is looking for something will see it everday. You may claim that you're not specifically searching out for it, but in the back of your mind, you're unconsciously looking for it.

The past 3 days I've encountered the word France or Paris. I've since forgotten the details but... we'll see what happens tomorrow

I believe I know what this whole France thing means. There's a lot of Muslims living in France. There well may be a terrorist living among them blowing things up.....

For 30 years, God has been leading  Visiondude to the final stages of his revelations. His incessant observance has led to others responding in a lottery news forum which just happens to be the largest Lottery forum in the world.

Now because of this enlightenment, a possible act of terror can be diffused...

            You can thank Todd....

since you suggested it,  you go in first,  and i will follow.

                  you can trust me Wink

you know what they say......"you can swim in shark infested waters,  and you don't have to be the fastest swimmer, just faster than your buddy behind you"

scrolling thru the movie channels,  some movie about juila childs called "julie and julia" was in the offering from 12am till  2:05am on the sk&fm channel.    evidently according to the description of what the movie was about ...."the art of french cooking"

i did not bite,  pun intended,  but it was after 12am,  so it counts

i did not however "observe" a  purple pageant donkey from kiribati,  and well,  now that my curiosity has been kindled,  i kinda wanna see what one even looks like,  let alone 1,035 of them in a row (approximately speaking)

The probability issues raised by your discussion of observations of references to France has analogues in the lottery and gaming.  You are not helping people understand the randomness of the lottery by alluding to something other than randomness in this case.

If another person traveling with you 24/7 over the last decade had an attraction like yours to, say, Iraq, I wonder which of you would have received the most "hits?"  Smile

hey jimmy,  you are a huge fan of test driving and statistical analysis,  have you been conducting your own personal science experiment on this issue,   in order to observe the probability factor?

just went in the bedroom to turn on the tv and playing on the USA channel right now is a show called "covert affairs"

i never watch that show,  and it wasn't precorded,  so the tv was on that channel from yesterday.

the storyline is in paris france

i turned the tv on,  and that was what was on,  i did not scan channels and come across it.

what are the odds of that "coincidence"?

unless someone for some reason wants to discuss this further as to the "origin" or the probability thereof,  i am not going to come back to this thread and "bomb it" (lol)  everytime i come across an occurance.

i already demonstrated it is occuring,  including giving avenues where you could check out whether i was telling the truth or not.

i don't see the need to continue this everyday,  so instead,  i have installed a "watch' on my signature.

until that gets taken down,  "it's" still been happening everyday,  and it will happen everyday,  until i arrive at the intersection that God has designed this little adventure for
