so a Christian walks into the bar (because he is there to "evangelize" of course),  and he see's the alien and the monkey sitting in a dark corner "negotiating".

when all of a sudden they get up,  and make a beeline for the Christian,  only to be stopped dead in their tracks...

"no,  we don't allow either of your kind on our dating sites,  but can i buy you a primordial ooze slow gin fizz"?

P.S.,  that RJoH  is a stand up guy.  thanks,  vision

3 hybrids walk into a bar

#1 is carrying a limited edition of origin of the species in one hand,  but dragging his knuckles with the other

#2 is carrying the full box set of planet of the apes,  and wearing a star trek shirt.

#3 looks like an irs agent,  acts like he is from another planet,  "probes" decent law abiding human beings for a living, and wears a hat made from a banana peel

joker is already at the bar,  fully passed out,  and misses the entire sequence, wakes up, see's the dos equis man, and decides he created humanity

      Nephilim

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

      Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Not that anyone mentioned Mormons but this applies to you crossing the line rdgrnr!  You don't give anyone the respect you want them to show you!  You might think you are funny with all your barbed answers but you are not - makes you just a jerk.

Our next President will most likely be Mormon, think you can handle that?

When do theological arguments cross the line into the “anti territory — anti-Semitic, anti-Catholic, anti-Mormon?” asks Mormon blogger Jana Riess.

Riess, a Mormon convert who holds degrees in religion from Wellesley College and Princeton Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in American religious history from Columbia University, should know. She has had many “wonderful and enlightening conversations,” she says, “with evangelicals who don't share all of my theological views but have treated me like a respected friend and dialogue partner.”

Sometimes, though, critiques turn into attacks, Riess writes. She lists the following five signs to tell when that is happening:

1.You claim that a religion is inherently violent or dangerous, much like many American Christians say about Islam and some say about Mormonism.

          2. You claim that the religion has deviant or illicit sexual practices — as people said about Mormons even after the LDS Church abandoned polygamy.

          3. You choose its more esoteric or odd-sounding beliefs to represent the whole tradition as in statements about the LDS belief that the Garden of Eden is in Missouri or that God lives on a planet called Kolob.

          4. You place it outside your culture’s dominant history as in the way Nazis “distinguished between 'good Aryans' and the 'dirty Jews' who had turned everything wrong for Germany in the interwar years."

          5. You suggest that its people are less moral than you are, or unfit for full rights in society.

Well, since aliens came up, who were the Nephilim (we know they weren't earthly), where did they come from, and why (to mate with earth babes?).

Or, is it just a case of from time immemorial, the Nephilim, like all the other aliens, are here for the hot babes, the beer, the pizza, and the weed?

There are also theories that we are the aliens, i.e., humankind came from another planet or fled another planet or were sent from another planet to earth to mine its resources.

                  I'm just saying......

None of this knocks out creation, as He created everything.  I know on some "Christian" boards that anything from space or a ghost is a "demon". Naw. This one one vast universe, perhaps one of many universes, and to assume that this is the only inhabited planet is just a striking example of people's egos gone berserk.

                  Then there's this:

                  15th Century Carving of Nephilim
Past Coast guest Brooks A. Agnew, PhD sends a photo of what he calls a rare find, a "15th century carving of Non-Human Nephilim" from the Roslin Chapel in Scotland. He writes: "Nephilim are the fallen angels who fathered the ancient giants with mortal women. Some had wings. Some didn't. Not all were human in form. They are immortal off-worlders. And they have a plan."

not true,  and based upon total exaggeration

just a scosch of common sense to start,  why would God allow only one time in history a little "party" of the 3rd kind,  where demons, fallen angelic beings et all got to have their way with "hot babes"?

seriously,  only one time in history it happened?

if it were "fallen angels",  it would have happened a gazillion times over the course of humanity,  because fallen angels do not have self control,  and are out to destroy humanity.

let's say that was the initial "first time" slamlamadingdong,  the first taste of that,  and they would have sent a memo out to the "others" about how fun that was.

                    think people.  use common sense

furthermore, Jesus Christ created angels,  "fallen" and otherwise,  and alluded to all angels being asexual beings,  devoid of sexual relation / procreation capabilities,  so therefore,  it is impossible for the nephilim to be anything but human.

i haven't done exhaustive (enough) research on the subject,  but as i remember,  the nephilim were men that were evil and corrupt before the Lord,  and made their infamy through terrorizing people

you don't think that if that were true,  and "fallen angels" could have sex with earthly women,  that it wouldn't be happening now with hooters restaurants all over the planet?    Green laughGreen laughGreen laugh

"hey,  let's go to the one in LA today.  i heard betty likes her some alien"

seriously,  sometimes you can come to a truth by way of common sense.

God runs the show, and therefore HAS to allow "evil".

it's not like it was a one time occurance,  where the fallen angels were feeling a little amorous that day,  and slipped out the parameter fence undetected by God,  and had their way without protest.

in fact,  the nephilim if i remember right were pre flood and post flood,  which would have made their "amorous extravaganza" multiple times.

                    uh no.  not quite

and for extra common sense points,  the bible has a ton of things to say about the created heavens in detail.

the only mention of anything "created" beyond us was angels,  fallen and otherwise.

there is never any hint of another "inhabited" planet,  another faction of created beings,  nothing beyond human beings and angels.

there is no life beyond that,  green or otherwise according to the biblical record.

to be sure,  whenever God discusses in detail what heaven contains,  the only inhabititants are God and us and angels

heaven is Gods residence and throne,  and if there were "other life",  they too would eventually have residentcy,  even if it HAD to include the process of redemption like it did with us.

"other life" would be there as well,  and they are not,  because when God discusses heaven,  it's in stretched out over the entirety of eternity.   still no honorable mention of anyone joining the party

God doesnt have a summer cottage on the planet kolob,  so He has no other "family" to attend to

                                "i am .........."meant to"

What you like to do is play semantics and twist words to attempt to make me look bad, but in actuality, it proves you know nothing about the subjects at hand, so in order to save face, you play these word games. I don't play those games. If you can't understand what I write, then too bad. I'm done with your parlor tricks. Stay stupid, who gives a shmidt.

There's much more evidence that clearly shows evolution, but you don't want to talk about that for a good reason. You just want to play games, and I'm not doing that anymore. You can't answer a simple question I posted on this thread early on, which shows me that you're purposely eluding the tough questions. All you do is come back with childish remarks and put-downs.

You are a pathetic individual. Go ahead and keep believing your garbage. And I'll coninue making fun of the clown.

VD never knows what the subject is so he just interjects whatever nonsense he can think of. It doesn't matter what you really said because he will continue on as if you never said it. Discussion is useless with anyone that lies about what you actually said and hypocritically brags about their integrity.

The story doesn't say much about the woman with the atheist son or anything about his reason for believing opposite of his mother, but if the story was about someone like VD winning the lottery, there is plenty of evidence why their offspring would believe totally opposite. I don't know if he's just plain ignorant or it's just a very weird style of debate, but either way I haven't seen anyone give him any credibility so why waste your time?

"There's much more evidence that clearly shows evolution, but you don't want to talk about that for a good reason."

There is evidence some species of animals and plants have adapted over time to changes in environment and climates but there is also evidence that similar species existing under the same circumstances became extinct. Adaption or "survival of the fittest" is probably a better way of explaining than a new specie evolved from extinct older species.

We know that "Lucy" existed but without any missing link, we can't say modern man evolved from that species when we know it's possible modern man could have adapted to whatever caused "Lucy's" species to become extinct. Cro-Magnum and Neanderthals are species that probably shared an ancestor with modern man but none with "Lucy".

"who were the Nephilim (we know they weren't earthly), where did they come from, and why (to mate with earth babes?)."

"That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose."

Who were the other women that weren't so fair?

"Nephilim are the fallen angels who fathered the ancient giants with mortal women."

"There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown."

If I'm reading that correctly the giants were already here and apparently  "IN" in the earth when sons came down. It's sort of strange that mighty men of renown would be considered evil too as the story goes on to say.

Your space seed theory is interesting but only if the Earth is 4 billion years old, but I'm sure you'll be told it's only 8000 years old by our resident Bible literalist.

"Not that anyone mentioned Mormons  "

When I first read your post I thought of a logical candidate who would eventually go even further off topic by saying something against the Mormon belief.

VD: "God doesnt have a summer cottage on the planet kolob,  so He has no other "family" to attend to"

It's bad enough on religious forums when these crazy so called Christian fundamentalist try to con people by saying only they know the "truth about God" but this is a lottery site. If it was only that easy predicting lottery numbers as it is predicting who is a religious fanatic, we'd have millions.
