Years ago Sir Fred Hoyle, an English Astronomer and mathematician wrote that for life to happen by accident given enough time, could be compared to a tornado in a junkyard, by chance alone, building a fully funtional 747. What he fails to realize is that the forming of life from amino acids to actual living animals is a liquid one, not a mechanical type. Hoyle is correct about the plane in the junkyard, only If it stopped there. Life began in a liquid soup that took  an unimaginable amount of time to start and progress. That soup allowed melding and splicing of molecules which ordinarily wouldn't be thought as practical in a dry mechanical arena. Trying to compare soft impressionable things like peptides, molecules, atoms, and all the other soft interactions of materials with hard mechanical parts to assemble is simply a very bad analogy.

The liquidity of life is an integral part in understanding how flexible the formations of new adaptions to the host is. It's much more likely for substances to merge in fluids and cause chemical changes than it is for parts of a plane. It's basic common sense.

Most of the solutions to complex problems end up, of course after hindsight, to be basic common sense that was either overlooked, or not learned yet. Believe it or not, common sense is always evolving. It's only as good as the updated mind.

You can come up with any hare-brained idea imaginable and chances are there's already some wackjob that has a website devoted to it.

There is nothing new under the Sun.

Not even Spacemonkeys.

BTW, have you seen Bigfoot lately?

Your reply above proves to me you are ignorant of the Information on Hoyle. Hoyle was on your side dummy.

    DUH!!!!

Obviously you didn't do your homework...tsk tsk...what a shame. Below is an excerpt of a short summary of his beliefs.

Hoyle, an atheist until that time, said that this suggestion of a guiding hand left him "greatly shaken." Consequently, he began to believe in a guiding force in the universe, which led him to a belief in panspermia.[4] Those who advocate the intelligent design hypothesis sometimes cite Hoyle's work in this area to support the claim that the universe was fine tuned in order to allow intelligent life to be possible.

Unfortunately for Hoyle, that hypothesis has been turned on it's head.

There may be many universes out there which may NOT BE FINED TUNED. This universe may be the only one which is fined tuned.

Of course some think we're special and have a GOD that created it. But the problem with this is that it's obvious that the inhabitants who were lucky enough to be in the one universe that had everything just right for it to exist and prosper will feel special. DUH!!!!.....No doubt that no creatures were ever able to come to fruition in the other countless universes which didn't have everything lined up so perfectly, thus no witnesses to say this universe sucks....lol....Non-existent beings have no way to tell others how they feel...DUH!!!

I never said anything about Hoyle, you did.

I was just making a general statement about how gullible you are regarding your sourcing of Berkeley and Wikipedia.

If that's where you get your "evidence",  it's no wonder you're so confused.

Nope, That's not where I get my evidence. I get it with common sense. It's something you and multitudes just like you lack.

My source of info, no matter how you belittle it, is far more advanced, reliable, and believable compared to your sources. Your sources are akin to over 38,000 other sources who claim their authority on truth based on nothing of value and hearsay. The very fact that you believe in one of those 38,000 as the truth, based on nothing of value proves to me you're a "feel good" type of person. Don't mind the facts, as long as it makes me feel good and fuzzy inside, that's all that counts. Maybe you can fool yourself, but I can't....Sorry !

I don't know why you want to argue religion with me constantly.

This is profound folks. I was on a cigarette break just now and saw a shooting star. This has to mean something folks. It must be some divine intervention telling me something.

It has to be a sign from God. It just has to be........ Please folks, dismiss everything Science says about shooting stars, it's quackery at best.

It must mean God is angry about something so we must sacrifice some humans.......Crazy

In fact, a while ago I saw an eclipse of the sun. This is defintely leading up to something.....I bet If it rains really hard and a whirling wind tears across the midland, it must mean the folks living there have something wrong with them. Why else would there be tornados in the same places over and over again?....Let's have a crusade and round up those folks. They're evil and living in sin....it has to be why.....Crazy

Maybe  you should start believing in Batman and/or Superman. Their stories are much more believable...

Maybe  you should start believing in Batman and/or Superman. Their stories are much more believable...

No, I'd rather kneel down and face Saudi Arabia  6 times a day on a little rug and pray for 72 virgins when I die.

That's about as useful as going to church every Sunday and talking to some imaginary being floating in the sky above. Talking to the ceiling could get you in trouble with the looney tunes society.

Hey, I just heard a frog fart. This must mean the end is near...
