Oh, this is rich. Want to talk about slowing down the progress of a country when the Shah got ousted, the religious police and Ayatollha took over, and all the technology in the oil fields just sat there going to waste?

I think when you were a kid in pistachio land you had run ins with the religious police and promised yourself you'd take it out on "them" if you ever got the chance, but of course, you couldn't do it over there.

I'm sure anyone who has risked mashing down on your link has read your propaganda already.

How many more times would you like them to read it?

Or are you still trying to get certain people (Wink) to mash it?

I guess you would be the authority on stoneage culture having been born into it.

      But guess what, Mahmoud?

You ain't gonna be beating any women in my country, pally.

You'll act like a civilized human being while you're here or it's back to your cave in the desert.

      Believe that.

      rdgrnr,

You pathetically miss the point that both the Bible and the Quran are based on [similar] outrageous ideas from a primitive time.  There is no need for non-believers to point out the negatives of the religion of Islam here; you have that covered.

"You ain't gonna be beating any women in my country, pally."

From the article linked above that you've ignored...

      Cruelties

Humanists also reject the Bible because it approves of outrageous cruelty and injustice. In civilized legal systems, a fundamental principle is that the suffering of the innocent is the essence of injustice. Yet the Bible teaches that God repeatedly violated this moral precept by harming innocent people.

      Cruelty in Basic Christian Teachings

Instances of cruel and unjust behavior by the biblical God are seen in the most basic Christian doctrines. Some of God’s acts that harmed the innocent are as follows.

He <snip>ed the whole human race and cursed the entire creation because of the acts of two people (Genesis 3:16-23; Romans 5:18); he drowned pregnant women and innocent children and animals at the time of the Flood (Genesis 7:20-23); he tormented the Egyptians and their animals with hail and disease because pharaoh refused to let the Israelites leave Egypt (Exodus 9:8-11,25); and he killed Egyptian babies at the time of the Passover (Exodus 12:29-30).

After the Exodus he ordered the Israelites to exterminate the men, women, and children of seven nations and steal their land (Deuteronomy 7:1-2); he killed King David’s baby because of David’s adultery with Bathsheba (II Samuel 12:13-18); he required the torture and murder of his own son (e.g., Romans 3:24-25); and he promised to send non-Christians to eternal torture (e.g., Revelation 21:8).

P.S.  If this is propaganda, please point out which of the Bible passages have been misinterpreted.

          "...and he killed Egyptian babies..."

A liberal complaining about babies being killed?  It's a miracle!

Abortion in this country alone makes the Egyptian experience look like a walk in the park but all I'm hearing from the humanaters on that is crickets.

Does your hypocrisy have any bounds at all?

Misinterpreted Bible passages don't define propaganda and you know it.

Don't dally with me if that's all you've got.

              It's the dementia - isn't it?

What does your answer have to do with acknowledging the honesty of what is in the Bible vs other religions?  Focus.  Focus.  Focus.  TRY and stay somewhat on topic for replies.  Obviously there are other deaths than just those in the Bible - Joker mentions 20,000 babies per day and you don't give a dam.   But now, suddenly, babies/abortions become important when you decide to mention them?

As far as having something covered, you have covered all the lies with these key words:

Libs, Queers, Hypocrite/Hypocrisy, Liar, etc;  You just open your mouth and magically you falsely accuse  people and feel no shame - in fact you gloat at your ability to even say those big-boy words!  Wow.  What a piece of work you are!

Might as well post some other (real) humor before returning to our regularly scheduled belittling put-downs by rdgrnr!

An explorer in the deepest Amazon suddenly finds himself surrounded by a bloodthirsty group of natives. Upon surveying the situation, he says quietly to himself, "Oh God, I'm screwed!"

There is a ray of light from heaven and a voice booms out, "No, you are NOT screwed. Pick up that stone at your feet and bash in the head of the chief standing in front of you."

So the explorer picks up the stone and proceeds to bash the living heck out of the chief.

As he stands above the lifeless body, breathing heavily and surrounded by 100 natives with a look of shock on their faces, God's voice booms out again, "Okay...NOW you're screwed."

                            You, princess, are a buffoon.

Your posts don't make any sense.

Try reading them once in a while and you'll see.

I got no time for the nonsense.

Why?  Are you busy brushing your tooth?

What a fitting comment for you:

I think rdgrnr and Zeno would get along just fine.  An observer might have difficulty determining who from what!  Smile On the other hand, rdgrnr might be uncomfortable having a meaningful conversation with a male, so maybe we should introduce him to Bina.  Actually, if he reads the article he will probably fall in love with Aiko!  Her current bo probably has no need to worry about that possibility though...

P.S.  Don't worry about the tinyurl - it's benign.  You'll see why I had to use it at LP when you get there...
