Pleast tell me, when there's a disaster or a tragedy and aid goes pouring into the location, I've never once seen any group of secular humanists, atheitsts, or agnostics involved, have you?

Speaks volumes.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

You really should do your homework before spouting off nonsense!

Must I post more links or can I count on you to insert "americanhumanist.org disaster relief" into your Google search box and report back here with an apology to AHA?

Then, look up the percentage of people who profess religious beliefs and attend church in the two countries.  And THEN, go figure!

Strange how they supposedely do all that and yet are invisible when things occur.Fpr a real good glimpse of how that all workes out in the real world go visit New Harmony, Indiana, or at least read up on its history.

How about administrative costs? Nobody can even come close to the efficiency of the Salvation Army on that one.

On a local scale , I live in a college town, full of liberals. Everday you get cut off in traffic by some clod with one of those "Co-exist" bumper stickers with the letters spelled out with symbols of different religions.

We have a recycling center, usually full of people with Green Party bumper stickers. They care about the environment but aren't worth a hoot dealing with other people. They gridlock the place because they don't want to carry a few things to the next bin so they drive up to each one and then block the exit on the way out.

What would possess people to respond to my post with pathetic cliches when they have nothing of substance with which to rebut the facts?  We could assume at least a modicum of intellect if they would just keep quiet.

Well, Nancy, maybe it's because when we rebut your "facts" you immediately change your avatar and go offline and hide until that page is buried and then you come back later with new "facts".

I got no problem with that. That's your fragile, delicate, feminine nature.

                joker17,

For someone who says they are agnostic you sure do get upset that other people don't believe, or not believe, they way you do or don't.

Wrong again and again and again and again and again and again......

I'll say this again for the 214th time. I've said many times over that I don't give two schmidts what you or any other person believes. Stay Ignorant If you want, I don't CARE !

What pisses me off is when a shallow individual like Ridge comes along, calling people names while twisting words and meanings around to benefit his warped brain function, and keeps failing over and over. He insults even the most articulate in the bunch like Truecritic and Jimmy. I actually feel good about this because It proves to me I'm not confused about my stance. Thank THOR, that logic and reasoning hasn't died.

Cointoss, I get upset with stupidity, not religious beliefs.

But doesn't God love those people too? or does he just love lottery winner wannabe's?

You miss the entire picture so badly it's like teaching a donkey how to play a violin.

Jimmy, even though your quote above was towards Cointoss, it can still be applied to Ridge as well. Except in Ridge's case it's not cliches, it's 4th grade responses.

On one hand, Coin is simply clueless, and Ridge is also clueless but also a dumbass.

The only supposed "point" Ridge thinks he has, has nothing to do with anything relevant to the subject. It's a non-stop barrage of cheap pathetic insults.

He addresses no issues. And when he does attempt to, once in every 75 responses or so, it's laughable.

Ridge, there's no way in hell to convince me, Truecritic and Jimmy, that you have any abilty to defend a made up fantasy. It's like trying to convince me Santa is real. What part don't you get?

Uh, when have I ever tried to convince you ladies of anything?

You're the ones trying to convince everybody of how stupid they are for having Christian beliefs.

You're the ones preaching about the sanity of believing in spacemonkeys and bacteria apes and puddle piddlers.

You're the ones doing all the preaching.

I've never tried to convince anybody of anything. I've never made any claims about anything. I've never told you what to believe.

                        It was you three.

Ridge constantly avoids the initial response by him. He was the root of why this thread has gone so far.

Just imagine If he never wrote ...(paraphrasing)......"I can't believe the hate from the non-believers here". I wonder how the thread would've EVOLVED....

Why can't he accept opposing views?
