If he/she is the sole winner then paying some more tax won't make that much difference. I mean, cash value in $250 millions? C'mon!

        Hey OldSchool!

I got most of my teeth (left a couple or three in saloons) and I was born and breaded in East Tennessee and we ain't never won nothin' up in here leastways as I can tell. C'mon now!

I'm rooting for ya rdgrnr!!  If only to see the hillarious press conference......

Always take CASH......You always want to control the Principle in the investment.  In these times with States/Gov'ts broke because of unfunded pensions and mandates I don't trust these bums with MY money!!  Why should on top of the money they have already made should they get to make additional money of investments from my jackpot.

Oh my bet is that the page number will go to 40.......A personal lucky number and one of the finest Presidents in my lifetime(Just my opinion).  Yes I have a lot of gamble in me....HAHA

Crazy.  Small gov't, doing it's job according to The Constitution. It's a dieing thing.

No state taxes in Texas either. It's good to live in Texas, jackpot or not. Small, parttime gov't. Yeah. White Bounce

I Agree!. Whoever wins, no matter what state they live in or what that state's tax rate is, it will be more money than they could spend in their lifetime (unless they were complete morons) and guarantee a generation or two of their loved ones following them a life of not worrying about money.

lolol - small gov't/big gov't regardless of what you start with... that kind of tax (NJ's) would end up with BIG gov't - or alot of brand new Mercedes being driven as 'company cars'.

I Agree!Yep all it takes is one(1) to win it KS!!!!!!!

Yes it only takes 1 to win, but I am going to blast away with my shotgun to improve my chances from 1 in 175,711,536 to 100 in 175,711,536.  Not a imperceptible difference, but of course it won't matter to me that I spent $100 if I actually win the jackpot (I don't play for anything but the jackpot).

Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is all the HOPE and CHANGE I desire!!!  NOW give me MONEY!US Flag

The guy who won the presidency in 2008 really won the lottery...he is now millions richer, travels in first class style, and even has a staff that would be the envy of the richest Powerball winner (she has a staff of 2). Every night he goes to sleep, he probably plays the close of Dave Chappelle's Show: I'm rich beyatch!
