Even in high tax WisconSIN "tax rates .org" says I get $113,455,160.89  after tax.

An I WON"T  whine about it.

Oh how can I live on $113,455,160.89? Poor old me! Oh Lord! Relieve me from this suffering!

Sounds like you enjoy the government confiscating your money.

Why not give them another 50 million or so voluntarily?

Or would you WHINE about that?

Three tickets each with power-play. That's gonna have to do it for me.

Not only that, but how much is already taken off the table for the different State programs like education? Again, not trying to imply that education isn't a good program by any means...

Also, everyone who is paying to build up his so-called dream opportunity to win big has already had their money taxed once or twice... therefore, whomever the winner will be shouldn't really be taxed again - especially, at the current rates (considereing Federal & State combined) which is another half of the cash value. Is that why they call this 'a tax on the poor'? The real winner is the government stealing from the pot over & over again while abusing & wasting that money however it wants.

Oh, and while the winner may feel heavenly while looking forward to all that buying opportunities or whatnot, know that s/he will have to yet pay more taxes again... just because these numbers look big don't mean that they are balanced or fairly representative of the whole pie, but who's counting right(?!).

Considering that a piece of that pie has already been given to such programs as education, the rest of it should be tax-free (like in some countries) or taxed at a fixed rate of like 10%, not 50% on top of everything else!! So, every time these things get so big folks llike to get excited over the sheer number of zeroes although the actual take-home is about one third... then again, most everyone will have zero chance of hitting it anyways.

BTW, good luck to all & play responsibly like they like to say Razz

Only started buying PB or MM with the Cash lump-sum option. Your advice about the cash option makes better sense than the annuity.

                  Thanks for the tip.

You have to choose when you buy the ticket??!!

I got 25 picks last draw and got a zero return.........gonna increase it to 50 picks for this sat.....and if it rolls gonna increase  to 75 picks for wed...........and I'm expecting a zero return on all. Lol

I played zero ticket & therefore got absolutely no return, but I may play for this Saturday... if I can get off my butt to leave the house or to get some errands done in the process.

If not, there's always another one in the near future to do so... no need/reason to play just because the pot is this high since the odds are still same. Closing on almost 20yrs of playing, what's the rush?? Naughty

                      That's for sure.

Harry Reid went in just an average dumb schmuck and now he's a multi-millionaire.

Most of 'em go in with nothin' and come out millionaires.

                      What a mystery, huh?.
