          New Jersey: 10.8% State Tax

           

          say hello to - $22,636,800   tax bill form NJ

           talk about a winfall for a state.

           

          1 winner sweet thro, does NJ allow trusts. or will this be a forced public winner todd, am not spoton about NJ lottery rules.

            Matched the PB with PP only...played 5 lines on one ticket plus 2 on another plus 2 single lines on 2 tickets.

                      Now that California will be selling Powerball, I think we'll be getting to these levels a lot faster each time. This was only the 13th drawing in the series and sales were elevated compared to prior buildups, which typically took 15-16 drawings to get to $300M+

                        By the way, Saturday's $338.3 million jackpot is the 8th-largest of all time.

                        The cash value of $209.6 million (my preliminary estimate) is also the 8th-largest of all time.

                          That is largely a function of the interest rates gradually improving.  As the interest rates on bonds improves, the lottery's cash on-hand is able to produce a larger annuity estimate.
