it sounds like David Copperfield is also good at making people's money disappear.  Yes Nod

LOL

Maybe. But the resort is out of this world. Pricey? of course, but $150k or so is pocket change if you have over $100 million. I agree don't spend you money foolishly but remember guys...you only live once! What else is money for?!

150,000 for 4 nights... That is insane!!!!!!

Of course it is, that's the point. If you just won $100 million you can afford to do something like this or whatever else you want. You gotta Splurge a little.

        1. New House.

        2. Fleet of exotic cars.

        3. Musha-Cay vacation for 2 weeks (private jet to the island)

Of course, I would do other things like help out family and charity and invest wisely. But you gotta live a little and spend it. What else can you do with it besides keep it in the bank and earn interest.  Enjoy it.

Stay on a budget.  And, learn to say "NO."  You'll be fine, and the jackpot can last you your entire lifetime.  Sure, you might hurt some people's feelings along the way, but in the long run, it will save you. Smile

sure, why not let your imagination run wild? If we get a few more rolls, we might see a billion dollar jackpot, then you could buy your own island.

Oh shup up with the government confiscation crap. You will walk away with $100+ million for spending a couple bucks. Can't your kind ever stop whining? Jesus Christ. The people like you are usually the ones sucking off the government teat. Almost every single time.

Somehow Uncle Sam has convinced you that paying Taxes is a good thing, so they can just waste it later.

If I won a HUGE POWERBALL Jackpot, I would do these things (I think/maybe):

                1.  Buy a New House (large but not a mansion-property taxes and maintenance would be astronomical!)

                2.  Go on a Vacation (to figure out how to deal with the sudden wealth and let it sink in a little)

                3.  Help pay off some relatives' student loans (nice gesture to family)

                4.  Adopt a few dogs (you can save lives and get unconditional love in return)

                Cheers

Actually, nobody likes paying taxes. That's just natural. What people like him want is the "rich" taxed of their earnings. In the name of fairness (equality of outcomes) and to redistribute the wealth. Where does this mindset come from? The marxist universities, the liberal media, jealousy and a belief the the rich somehow got over due to immoral ways. While some have, most work harder, longer and frankly have a higher IQ than the dull masses. Their lack of success makes them feel inferior and the only way you can get back is to tax the rich on their money and give it away to the lame and lazy.  It's not polite or politically-correct to say this, but that's it in a nutshell.

Maybe everyone should experience extreme luxury at least once in their lives without thinking how much it's gonna cost them

If you can afford it, that's the whole point. Indulge yourself if you win. You have more than enough money for several lifetimes. My indulgence would be 2 weeks in Musha Cay (arriving by private jet) Remember folks, when you die your bank ballance means nothing. Enjoy it while you can and you're still young enough! We're only going 'round this merry-go-round once. Yes Nod

I don't think anyone really got excited on the run when DL took it down.....maybe if it rolls or they up it before sat

anyone who beats 175 million to one odds deserves to keep every last dime. How else would most people rationalize plunking down $2 a ticket on a game that's absurdly difficult to win?
