Oh wow, that's convenient. Hopefully they'll adopt that option in other states.

In KY, several convenience stores can cash up to $5K; don't believe there is any charge fo this service.

don't know, Haven't won!!

Yeah there are places you can go that can cash up to $5,000 and then there are places you can go that can cash up to $25,000. After that amount you have to go to the lottery headquarters.

I love doubles and remember, it's just a game!!!!!!

      The guy needs to chill!

If everything is on the up-and-up then, The Lottery will pay out. The Lottery just wants to make sure that the ticket wasn't lost or stolen.  I am glad to read that they are investigating the signature.

Lesson learned: When you go to sign and fill out the back of the ticket, write/print legibly with a writing utensil that is in good working order. And, do not attempt to write over it once complete. Then, keep it in a safe place and don't tell anyone that doesn't NEED to know that you won. - At least not until you have claimed the money and have gotten your affairs in order.

Remember: If you win big, the less people that know, the better off (and safer), you and your family will be.

YES, something doesn't add up.  Either there is no video at the location or something else like that.  I would have had the store that I bought it from verify that I did get it when I say I did.  It also should be VERY easy for the state to verify if he was the person who bought it the same way.  Then I would go public with what the store gave me for proof to put extra pressure on them.  A news report with the store video showing him buy it should be all it takes.

Since there is no proof that is been given I am skeptical at this point.
