Trump criticizes people that don't pay their taxes.  But it is ok for trump to take advantage of a rich person's loop hole to not pay taxes.

Trump has been audited. He's legal.

No need now, they were leaked.  A violation of his privacy, one more felony to add to the Democrat total.  Out of the line-up of current Democrat politicians, it's hard to keep track of the felons without a scorecard.

I want Hillary's medical records released or an examination by a team of independent doctors.  Her current doctor, Dr. Lisa Bardeck, the one who declared that she was in good health, will probably be the next Surgeon General if Clinton is elected POTUS, so I discount her statement.

We have a right to know if she's physically capable of the duties of the office.

              Stack

I had a uncle that was shot down 3 times in WWII and the last time he was captured by the SS and spent

the rest of the war in a SS prison camp.  Near the end the SS forced marched them from camp to camp until

one day he woke up and they had all fled during the night.  He never considered himself a Hero as he made

it out alive.   I guess there are different levels of heroism.

Anyone that served in war is a hero period. You obviously never served and ought to be ashamed for saying anything different.

Who has he criticized? You put it out there, back it up.

Trump thinks people who take advantage of tax laws are smart.

Donald Trump Lecture Americans For Not Paying Taxes:

This weekend the New York Times detonated a bombshell by reporting that Donald Trump, using a loophole that benefits wealthy dynastic families, declared nearly a billion dollar loss on his 1995 tax returns—a loss that possibly allowed him to avoid paying any federal taxes for 18 years. (The full impact of this loss is not publicly known because Trump has stubbornly refused to follow the traditional practice for presidential candidates releasing his tax returns.) The Times account included a <snip>ing quote from Trump's former accountant: "Here the guy was building incredible net worth and not paying tax on it." After the story broke, the Trump campaign released a statement blasting the newspaper, calling Hillary Clinton more crooked than Richard Nixon, and claiming Trump "has paid hundreds of millions of dollars in property taxes, sales and excise taxes, real estate taxes, city taxes, state taxes, employee taxes and federal taxes, along with very substantial charitable contributions."

Without his tax returns, there is no way to determine if the campaign's assertion about Trump's taxes and charitable contributions is true. But in the past, Trump has frequently decried other Americans for not paying taxes.

On July 18, 2011, Trump appeared on Fox News and was asked about President Barack Obama's comments that well-to-do Americans should make a sacrifice for the country by paying more in taxes. He replied:

Well, I don’t mind sacrificing for the country to be honest with you. But you know, you do have a problem because half of the people don't pay any tax. And when he's talking about that he's talking about people that aren't also working, that are not contributing to this society. And it's a problem. But we have 50 percent. It just hit the 50 percent mark. Fifty percent of the people are paying no tax.

This was a Republican talking point—and a misleading one. It was true that close to 50 percent of Americans did not pay federal income tax, but that was because they did not earn enough money to be hit by this tax. Many of these people were working for low wages, or were seniors or young people not earning wages, and they paid other taxes, including Social Security and property taxes. Yet here was Trump brandishing a favorite club of the GOP—makers vs. takers—to denigrate half of the nation.

Trump's tax plan will benefit trump and the rich people.

Well, you didn't read his tax plan, to lower taxes on businesses so they can hire, to give tax incentives to keep them here in America, to reduce the regulations that are strangling small business so they can grow and hire, to lure back companies that have left , and to you this is a bad thing.

If all you care about is Trumps taxes, then you are one sorry selfish sob.

We have a country with 46 million on food stamps, lowest home ownership, lowest wages in years, inflation on goods and services that take every extra dollar, The feds been cooking the books for so long the two ends will eventually meet and we will have a depression on steroids.

Our national security is a high risk, so you think keeping the bad guys out is wrong, the current regime lets anyone run right in, none of that bothers you?

The continuous cyber attacks, wait until they figure out how to shut the grid down. Are you Prepared?

Doubt it, most of America won't have a clue what to do, or have enough provisions, all hell will break lose.

...but some of the people here actually believe their childish insults will convince people to change their votes

Not me.  I know there's no changing his mind.  Some might say it's a character fault, but in the case of someone like bear, I enjoy pointing out how incredibly ignorant they are and what's worse, how much of a partisan hack they happen to be.  It's akin to pulling wings off of flies, which would make me cruel (mea culpa!) but the analogy is reinforced when you consider what flies are attracted to.

Bear is a rookie at this and is making rookie mistakes.

"Rookie" is generous and far-too-kind to him.  "Numbnuts" would be more fitting.

...why isn't Trump up by 20 points?

Because as you well know, the country is pretty much divided in half.  I would turn that back around at you and ask if Trump is such a bad candidate, then why isn't he DOWN by 20 pts.?   There have only been a few in this thread defend Hillary and I don't know why that is.  It might be that any other supporters in here know they would have a hard time defending her.   I might be mistaken, but I don't recall ever defending Trump, but have been attacking Hillary...which as far as I can tell, only happens in message boards and forums such as this as well as in a few right-wing websites, but certainly not by the MSM.

Trump has his faults, some "Yuge" ones and has made some incredibly stupid statements.  He has no filter and while candor is usually refreshing, a politician needs to parse their words more carefully than he has.  He's obnoxiously brash and likes to play the bully.  I have problems with much of what he's said and how he's acted and some of the things he's done but I have the same problem with Hillary, only ten-fold.   It's as I said, this election, same as the last two, is the choice between the lesser of two evils.  Yes, even the lesser is still evil, but the greater evil is worse.   To me, Trump is like the guy arrested for drunkenly urinating in public, while Hillary is the person who drove the getaway car after a bank robbery.  The former is distasteful, but the latter is unforgivable.

I would vote Libertarian, but I think the weed has put too much tar in Johnson's brain and Stein?  Pffft, she's a joke.  So, it's either leave the box un-ticked or vote for Trump.  I was this >.< close to being a "No-Trumper" but again, I'm much more of an "Anybody But Hillary" person.  The only other viable "anybody" is the loudmouth.

"Because as you well know, the country is pretty much divided in half."

That's because our form of government has always encouraged diversity. That's one of the reasons only 1/3 of the Senate is elected every two years. They scrapped the Articles of Confederation in favor of our Constitution basically because of the weakness that of government. We're having social problems we haven't seen since the 60s, but other than appealing, there isn't much either candidate can do.

"I would turn that back around at you and ask if Trump is such a bad candidate, then why isn't he DOWN by 20 pts.?"

You could but that doesn't explain why Trump isn't up by 20 points.

"There have only been a few in this thread defend Hillary and I don't know why that is."

The few vocal Obama supporters in 2008 and 2012 were drowned out by the many McCain and Romney supporters. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand there are more vocal red LP members than blue LP members. And considering that Trump can't help putting his foot into his month, Clinton's chances are getting better by staying silent.

"I have problems with much of what he's said and how he's acted and some of the things he's done but I have the same problem with Hillary, only ten-fold."

That's a problem for the fence sitters who are wondering what he'll say next. Even the Clinton supporters don't care what Trump said about Miss Universe, but he just can't let it go.

"I would vote Libertarian, but I think the weed has put too much tar in Johnson's brain and Stein?"

At least the VP pick William Weld could name a present World leader, but today the Chicago Tribune endorsed the Johnson/Weld ticket.

"I'm much more of an "Anybody But Hillary" person.  The only other viable "anybody" is the loudmouth."

We both live in solid red states so our red or blue votes won't change a thing. Read a statistic that 93% of the voters have made up their minds so all the old negative Clinton stuff won't change a thing, but Trump's mouth could cost him votes and the election.
