"Just my own opinion, but I don't think EITHER party supports Christian values,"

I'd agree it wasn't for that pesky First Amendment issue.

"but once again, it's the lesser of two evils and the Republicans win that contest, hands down."

Refresh my memory; why did Richard Nixon resign?

You really don't want me to play the strawman game with you, do you?  I stand by my statement...unless you want to start comparing each party's criminals, and then I reckon the Republicans won't even begin to match the Dem's scandals.  I call your Tricky Dick and raise you Teddy Kennedy...or ANY Kennedy, for that matter.  Not sure what you meant by the 1st Amendment reference.  Explain it to me like I was as simple as...oh, let's say bigbear.

BTW, you were a Grade-A douche when you went off on RL for some reason.   I saw absolutely nothing wrong with what he said. What YOU said, however, is not only wrong, but egregiously so.

Anyone that served in war is a hero period.

I guess you forgot about Benedict Arnold in the Revolutionary War?  I could name people in American uniform in each and every war the U.S. fought who were NOT heroes and were, in fact, the opposite.  The Confederate soldiers who starved and abused Union soldiers in the horrid prison camps or Sherman and his troops who committed war crimes against the Southern civilian population during their march to the sea weren't heroes.

Although over 21,000 American soldiers were given varying sentences for desertion during World War II, including 49 death sentences, Eddie Slovik's death sentence was the only one that was actually carried out.  The My Lai Massacre during Vietnam is a shameful blot upon American military history. I can understand being furious for a village giving aid and comfort to the Viet Cong, but murdering children and raping women?   More recently, Bowe Bergdahl was certainly an exception to your declaration...a coward AND a traitor.  I could come up with more if you like...but they'll just keep on disproving your statement.

Not everyone who wears a uniform is a hero, be they military, fire fighters and I'm guessing you've heard about all the shootings by police over the last year or two...or do I need to refresh your memory on that?

Trump Tax Revelations No Surprise to Past Associates: Part 1

When Sebastian Pignatello saw the news that Donald Trump had declared a loss of $916 million in 1995, potentially allowing him to legally avoid paying federal income taxes for close to two decades, the retired Queens investor wasn't surprised. As a shareholder in the Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, Pignatello had a front row seat to the many ways in which he says Trump used the legal and corporate landscape for his own benefit, almost always at the expense of everyone else's.

"I invested in the Trump casinos because I thought there was value there," said Pignatello, 67. "What I was totally oblivious to was Donald Trump's ability and willingness to screw the people that he deals with... That was my downfall as an investor."

For the general public, Trump's 1995 tax records, reported Saturday by the New York Times, offered a rare glimpse into the financial standing of the Republican nominee -- the first presidential candidate since 1972 to decline to release any of his tax returns.

They showed a man who appeared able to reap extraordinary tax benefits from his own financial blunders in the early 1990s -- including three Atlantic City casino bankruptcies, a failed airline business and a poorly-timed purchase of Manhattan's Plaza Hotel.

But for at least a portion of those who've done business with Trump in the past, watching him make money while they've lost, the 1995 documents affirmed something about the candidate that they already knew: Trump is in it for Trump, and no one else.

"The man makes money no matter what," said Marty Rosenberg, 73, who says his plate glass company lost hundreds of thousands of dollars when Trump's Taj Mahal went bankrupt in 1991. "That's all that's important to him. That and his ego."

Rosenberg's company, Atlantic Plate Glass, was nearly finished with its work on a multi-million dollar contract with the Taj Mahal when he says payments suddenly stopped. He was owed about $1.2 million, he said.

Rather than accept the losses, Rosenberg organized a group of subcontractors who were owed money for work on the casino and set out to negotiate with Trump's attorneys.

Trump Tax Revelations No Surprise to Past Associates: part 2

Rosenberg was able to recoup a portion of the money left on his contract, but he still took a hit. He knew others weren't as lucky.

"Did we survive? Absolutely," he said. "But there were a lot of people who didn't."

That feeling is shared by retired music store owner Michael Diehl, who says he lost $30,000 — or about a third of his yearly income -- on a $100,000 contract to supply the Taj with grand pianos. The 89-year-old said the gambling mecca could only give him 70 cents on the dollar when it ran into financial difficulties prior to declaring bankruptcy in 1991.

"I don't think Donald Trump could walk down the boardwalk in Atlantic City without looking around behind his back to see who's after him," said Diehl. "Because some people are really, really upset. They've lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I got off easy."

Just the right man for the job, the US needs someone who will work for us instead of all the other countries.

We have been taken to the cleaners so many times under Obama and this will continue under Hilda.   The

trade deficit with china is running at 500 billion per year.  How long do you think china would trade with the

US if they showed a 500 billion trade deficit?   It's time for a new sheriff,  if Trump can do the same for the US

as he has for himself then I say go for it.  In business some win and some and some loose, if you can't run

with the big dogs then stay on the porch.   Trump may be a pitbull but I think Obama is a Chihuahua, all bark

and no bite.    Obama just released a bunch of drug dealers back on the public.  Trash Trump all you want, but

it's time we had a leader that's not afraid to step on a few people to win.  I just seen a report where two boxes

of clinton's emails have gone missing.  It's thought that they were reclassified so they can be tossed into a

black hole, gone, gone, gone for ever.   Wake up America.

I just seen a report suggesting the Regan's would not have voted for Trump.  This just reinforces my views that

Trump is the right choice.  Sure Nancy would vote for Hilda because witches have to stick together.  Nancy also

communed with other-world spirits and she then advised Ronnie.   Many of the problems we face today, Ronnie

              started.

Here's something that bothers me about the Clinton foundation.  According to my research the foundation has

received something like $3 billion.  It's been stated that 10% goes to the cause which would equal $300 million.

It's also been said that they help millions of people.   Lets see what that breaks down to.

If they helped 2 million people then it works out to $150.00 per person.

If they helped 3 million people then it works out to $100,00 per person

If they helped 4 million people then  it works out to $ 75.00 per person

I don't know how far a couple hundred bucks goes in other countries but this stinks of rot.  Paying  $2.7 billion to

distribute the 300 million to the needy.   It's no wonder we are now 20 billion in dept.

If we add the Haiti rip-off and do a head count then I think the world would be better off without it.  For everyone

that is except the Clinton's and their friends.

I'm just wondering if they'll have the nerve to step in and offer Haiti assistance this time.

They botched the last relief effort by squandering donations and supplying low standard materials.

The Clinton Foundation donates then gets donations in return. This is also an entity that should be

investigated but sadly, probably never will be.

Your so naive, it's incredible or maybe just thick headed.    Trumps attorney advised him not to make his tax returns

public until after the audit.   Do you think the lawyers are concerned about the taxes he paid or maybe, just maybe

they are with holding it for it legal reasons.   Let the IRS do their job or do you think a late disclosure will cost him

the election.   Why don't you do a little math and calculate the amount of earnings he would of had to made in order

to use the loss.  I know you feel the need to keep spouting taxes, taxes taxes trying to draw attention away from

your corrupt leader.   I hope that Trump wins just so he can appoint the right people so that all the crooked federal

agencies can be investigated, you know, the ones covering up for Obama and Hilda.

Give me 300 million and I will make some big changes with the other 2.7 billion.  Looks similar to the

money laundering scheme reported to have taken place in Arkansas.

Forgot to add, I totally agree with this as well.

                              Don R. "Dick" Ivey, PhD

From the time I was able to vote, I voted Republican. I am now 84 years old.

Recently I received a questionnaire and request for money from the Republican Party and strongly agree with every question, as I have since Obama was elected.

Unfortunately the one question that was missing is: What have the Republicans done for the American people?

We gave you a majority in the House and Senate, and you never listened to
us. Now you want our money, my money, more money. You should be more
concerned about our votes, not our money.

You are the establishment which means all you want is to save your jobs and line your pockets.

Well guess what? It's not going to happen.

You might think we are fools because you feel Trump is on a self-destruct
course, but look beyond Washington and listen to the masses. Nobody has
achieved what he has, especially in the state of New York

                              Here's why I want Trump. Yes, he's a bit of an ass; yes, he's an egomaniac;
                              but I don't care.

The country is a mess because politicians suck.

The Republican Party is two-faced and gutless, and illegals are everywhere...and now we have SANCTUARY CITIES... are we INSANE?

                              I want it all fixed!

I don't care that Trump is crude.

I don't care that he insults people.

I don't care that he has changed positions.

                              I don't care that he's been married 3 times.

I don't care that he fights with Megan Kelly and Rosie O'Donnell.

I don't care that he doesn't know the name of some Muslim terrorist.

Our country has become weak, bankrupt. Our enemies are making fun of us. We are being invaded by illegals. We are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom, Ricardo and Hassid is a special group with special rights to a point where we don't even recognize the country we were born and raised in, "AND I JUST WANT IT FIXED." And Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what the people want.

I'm sick of politicians, sick of the Democratic Party, the Republican
Party, and sick of illegals. I just want this thing fixed. Trump may
not be a saint, but he doesn't have lobbyist money controlling him; he
doesn't have political correctness restraining him; all you know is that he
                              has been very successful; a good negotiator; he has built a lot of things;
and, he's also not a politician. And, he says he'll fix it. And, I believe
him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked
                              at and called a liar..

I don't care if the guy has bad hair.

You are welcome to pass this on, or not.

                              This says it all.
