I know what happened, but never could understand why some of the members calling him their "close friend" don't have a clue. The guy created an excellent Archie Bunker type persona and would certainly enjoy this election cycle.

I see you're happy he's not here. I just hope he's okay and just had to walk away, for as much as I don't care for you, I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you.

I blocked you several times over the years, people can change their mind ya know.

For the record, I'm still an undecided presidential voter living in a solid red state. And it would be refreshing to read why I should vote for (not against) either candidate.

I'll tell you my reason for Trump.

To vote for Hilary would be voting for the same as usual politician. We need real change, right now. Will Trump be better than Hilary? Well, that is the great unknown. What I do know is that Hilary is the same as every politician that ran, Repub and Dem during the primaries. I'm glad Cruz, and the rest of the Repubs lost to Trump. Again, we need someone different, now. That is why I did not vote for Cruz, or anyone else in our primary. I voted for Trump. My wife was in disbelief when I told her (she voted for Cruz), but I told her the same thing I saying now. Yeah, Trump has his warts. He's not polished like a career politician. I like that.

You want the same old, same old? Hilary is your choice.

You want someone who can and just might make a difference? Trump.

Is that the reason why you have so much hatred for the Republican party? it sure seems that way. You are simply a liberal pervert and want everything your way.

DO NOT CALL ME A LIBERAL. I AM A LEFTIST NOT those center-right moderate conservatives Obama and Hillary. I stopped viewing the Republican Party as a legitimate party after the Hurricane Sandy bill got bored down by southern leeches like Rand Paul and Tom Coburn whose states were the biggest munchers of 2012 federal aid. Chris Christie was a hero when he whipped Rand's money sucking butt.

Well Drenick..what do you expect him to do all day living in his parent's basement? Contribute to society???? No....gotta have his porn. Lol Wink  He only works during the summers anyway as he stated. He is way too entitled to work full time.

I spend most of my time learning things that would make your head spin thank you very much. I've never watched porn at all btw, I'm too busy trying to find s job so that I won't end up like 90% of the southern Republican Party on welfare.

I'm not "happy he's not here" because I know why he isn't.

Why do you think he "had to walk away"?

You worry about the United States government becoming an oppressive theocracy?  Really?  Really?  When you paid taxes, did you pay more than the IRS required you to pay?  You can always write them a check for more than you owe.  LOL  Think of all the starving children because you wanted to keep more of the money you earned.

There's nothing wrong with only paying the minimum that you need to pay, the only problem is that the minimum is too low to support what the government needs to do.

You have to decide what you think is best for the collective country.

I listen to what they both have to say, not what someone else says they say.

I know we need jobs, not refugees, I know we need to secure our borders, I also know we need to make coming here easier for those with real skills and desires. Not drug dealers and gun runners.

I know that if you cripple the middle class with excessive tax, they stop spending, thus business suffers and more people lose jobs and prices go up.

I know we have tons of product coming into the country while these countries do not buy our products.

I don't claim to have all the answers, but as far as I see , Trump is a business man who is fed up with the crap our Government and that means all political parties, all getting away with.

They are forgetting they work for us, I don't want a Government that wants me to work for them.

I know we have a current regime trying to chip away at our rights, one that controls much of the media.

One that started class wars, race wars and gender wars. They are following the aslinsky, and Cloward and Piven playbooks. All ya got to do is read them.

One question I still ponder, why did they make sure so many people flooded our border, put these sick people on buses and ship them all over the country. What kind of person does this to their own country?

the whole point of America becoming independent was because of "tyranny" (not actually but irrelevant to what i have to say).  You really see nothing wrong with the government snooping in and arresting you for watching two adults have consensual sex? A call to ban just child porn has been in the platform for decades (as it should and must be) but in 2016  the Christian Taliban finally gets enough power to advocate for banning ALL porn in the platform.  i care about privacy rights and constitutional protections and that means defending the right to do something that i wouldn't do (watch porn). As MLK said, Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

My question is can Trump work Congress because it's nothing like working with a board of directors and with foreign leaders. I assumed after Trump won the nomination his insult filled speeches would stop or at least use only twitter, but IMO, they are getting worse. Another thing I find problematic is the support (or lack of) by the top Republicans; there is a huge difference between saying they will support the candidate and wearing a "I like Trump" button.

The members of Congress have over the past 20 years gone from largely being a body of trustees (Vote based on the merits) and delegates (voting the wy their constituents want)  to being a body of almost entirely partisan (voting the way the party wants). If Trump wins and he gets a Republican Congress, he can get virtually anything he wants. if he gets a Democratic Congress, then literally next to nothing will get done. The same would happen in reverse with Hillary.

The Republican base is united while the leadership is divided, The Democratic leadership is united while the base is divided. I don't know which is worse, this election will tell.
