The best outcome for the 2016 Presidential Election would be for BOTH Trump and Clinton to lose the election [not enough electoral votes], and the decision ends up in the Congress.  The best strategy for Congress would be to do what Congress does best, take a long time to make up their minds [delay tactics, like what the Senate is doing with Judge Merrick Garland] until March 2017, when the Vice Presidential candidate chosen by the Senate [which will probably be Gov. Mike Pence] can become the legal president.  Out of 5 choices [Trump, Clinton, Kaine, Pence, and possibly Johnson or McMullin (Utah)] Gov. Mike Pence is the best and wisest choice for the next U.S. PresidentHe is probably the lesser of 5 Evils.

Neither candidate getting enough electoral votes is the worst thing that could happen because it would disenfranchise millions of voters. Currently it's possible Evan McMullin could win Utah's 6 electoral votes, but it doesn't look like any of the other third party candidates will win electoral votes. The House can only choose between the three candidates with the most electoral votes.

The new Congress starts on January 3, 2017 and will officially count the electoral votes on January 6. The only possible scenario where neither Trump or Clinton gets 270 votes includes McMullin. It's very likely the Republicans will control the House, but either way, if the House makes McMullin President, they will disenfranchise 97% of the electorate.

The only way Pence can become President if Trump wins and then resigns or dies while in office or if Pence wins the 2020 election.

Re: Your last question. Vote out the incumbents if we're not happy with them. The people vote them in, they can vote them out. Do that to a few Congressional lifers and everyone will be shocked. That will give the rest of them a real wake up call that the people are pissed with them.

And the clear message will be, shape up or you'll be out too, the next election day.

Two years ago Mitch McConnell talked about his opponents inexperience in Federal offices and got 63% of the vote. Rand Paul is basically saying the same thing and is leading by 18 points. The Lexington area Congressman's ads looks like he is running against Obama and his opponent says Washington is broke, shows her family eating dinner, and then says she endorsed the ad.

There aren't very many options here and in most states.

And yet most of the folks associated with Hillary won't dare go on Fox with O'Reilly or Hannity.

Hillary wants open borders.  How can anyone be for that?  If you are, then take the front door off your residence.

That's a good question for all democrats.

I hope you're right but it's going to be a tough battle as only Fox will discuss it.

Interesting that Hillary's body double has come forward.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Trump will not even listen to his campaign manager, " stick to the message"!

If trump wins, the election was good.  If trump loses,  the election was rigged!  And trump wants to be President.  DANG!

Clinton aides agree on own to accept donations from foreign lobbyists.

The whole Clinton clan is running amok, is anybody really in charge?  I guess that is normal in with anything Clinton related, a FREE FOR ALL, anything goes.

The New Protesters Defying Donald Trump: His Customers:

Morrie Gold is not a placard-waving political protester. He is a 69-year-old retired doctor in Pennsylvania.

But he recently participated in a quiet act of rebellion: He and 11 golfing buddies canceled their annual trip to a Florida resort owned by Donald J. Trump to express their disgust with his remarks about women, immigrants and minorities.

“For me,” Mr. Gold said, “it’s an ethical statement.”

Political demonstrations are alien to Margaret Riordan, too. “I’m just an old, white lady from Illinois,” she said. But when friends invited the 60-year-old and her husband to dinner inside Chicago’s Trump International Hotel and Tower, a one-woman boycott was born.

“Pick another place,” Ms. Riordan firmly told her friends. “By crossing that threshold, I’m saying Donald Trump’s O.K. I won’t do that.”

                              The reservation was canceled.

Across the country, voters alarmed by the tenor of Mr. Trump’s campaign and the emerging accounts of his personal conduct are engaging in spontaneous, unorganized and inconspicuous acts of protest that take direct aim at perhaps his most prized possession: his brand name.

In more than two dozen interviews, they described creative methods of punishing his economic empire and expunging the once-esteemed reminders of him from their lives, closets, golf bags and bookshelves over the past few months. They have thrown out — or cut up — Trump ties, called off stays at Trump hotels, even stopped imbibing Trump wines.

Gary Berry, a military veteran and Gold Star father whose son died while serving in the Army, used to love Mr. Trump’s sparkling wines. He bought the ornate bottles, stamped with the candidate’s heavily serifed surname, near his hometown, Charlottesville, Va., for special occasions like the birth of a grandchild and wedding anniversaries.

That stopped the moment Mr. Trump mocked the parents of Capt. Humayun Khan, an Army captain who was killed in Iraq.
