Why Trump's talk of a rigged vote is so dangerous:

Donald Trump is playing with fire.

The Republican presidential nominee's claim that the election is being rigged against him represents the most outlandish moment yet in a campaign devoted to dismantling political norms.
Trump might not be the first candidate to feel nefarious forces are moving to keep him from the White House -- presidential elections have occasionally been disputed after votes are counted and have often been marred by accusations of dark instruments of fraud, such as the dead casting votes.
But Trump's claim three weeks before Election Day -- as many voters are already going to the polls -- that the race is being being deliberately stacked against him by a fearful political establishment flies in the face of historical precedent. And should he lose, it threatens the legitimacy of those left to govern after the most anarchic election in modern history.
"Remember, we are competing in a rigged election," Trump said at a Wisconsin rally Monday night. "They even want to try and rig the election at the polling booths, where so many cities are corrupt and voter fraud is all too common."
His accusations alone, experts say, could inflict long-standing damage on the US political system itself by eroding trust in the probity of the electoral process.
"The most important thing in the system is that the winners win and the losers lose," said Mark Braden, former chief counsel of the Republican National Committee. "Almost as important as that is that the rational people that support the loser believes that the winner won."
One of Trump's GOP primary rivals, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, rejected Trump's claims that the election is being "rigged."
"This election is not being rigged," Rubio, who is now seeking re-election to his Senate seat, said in a debate Monday against Democratic challenger Rep. Patrick Murphy. "There is no evidence behind any of this, so this should not continue to be said."
Trump's accusations come as his campaign slips further behind Democrat Hillary Clinton three weeks from Election Day, prompting him to deal in ever more conspiratorial claims that shield him from culpability in his own fate. And there is every sign that his most loyal supporters accept his warnings that a "horror show" is taking place and that the election could be "stolen."

ow low can Trump go in the polls?

New surveys suggest the GOP nominee is perilously close to a historic rebuke.

Polls conducted since the first presidential debate last month put Donald Trump on a pace to earn a smaller percentage of the vote than any major-party nominee in at least 20 years.

In matchups that include third-party candidates, Trump is winning, on average, 39.6 percent of the vote compared to 46.2 percent for Hillary Clinton in the dozen national polls using live-telephone interviewers conducted since September 26.

For much of the presidential campaign, the focus has been on Trump’s apparent ceiling: He has been unable to grow his coalition to the extent necessary to claim the lead over Clinton.

Now, though, after weeks of negative news coverage after Trump’s poor performance in the first debate, the tape of his sexually aggressive remarks leaked earlier this month and reports from a number of women claiming he sexually assaulted or harassed them, it’s also clear Trump has a floor of about 40 percent of the electorate.

That means, while he lags behind Clinton this year, Trump appears unlikely to end up with a smaller percentage of the vote than George H.W. Bush did in 1992 against Bill Clinton.

        What backup outlet RL-idiot?

We can confirm Ecuador cut off Assange's internet access Saturday, 5pm GMT, shortly after publication of Clinton's Goldman Sachs speechs.

Keywords:  cut off Assange's internet access.

Here's more STUPIDITY!  "I would not put it past Obama or Hilda to use nukes to try and stop the information from getting out".  And yes, this is also from RL-idiot!

LOL! Obama and his holier than thou advice: Trump should stop whining about Election fixes.

Aren't there things Obama should be doing right now instead of injecting his arrogance into this election?

It's all a big joke and that's the problem. Instead of being serious about the matter, he reduces it to grade

school comebacks. If someone has a concern, isn't it respectable and mature to address it accordingly?

Especially when you're the President of the United States?

Oh and Trump's remarks might erode public trust? I hope they do.

Then Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio, and others are "holier than thou" too. When are you going to face the facts; you're backing an whining loser for President?

Then Obuma goes on to say 'if whenever things are going badly for you and you lose, you start blaming

somebody else, then you don't have what it takes to be in this job'.

Let's specifically outline exactly what Obama said...no evidence of widespread voter fraud...now, remember

that because when it is exposed, that is his out door like always. Always measure your words beforehand

then when someone calls you out on them, you can say you didn't say it, act like you never heard it and

                claim you can't remember it.

And further 'Trump's flattery of Vladimir Putin is is out of step with US norms'.

Someone needs to get in step with something normal when dealing with Russia and Putin and the Obama

administration nor the Hillary ideology is in step with anything that won't lead to WW3.

Putin likes neither of them and for very good reason.

For me it's not being afraid at all noise-gate, I just don't like their left leaning pinko bs.

Opinions right now has End Trump's rigged vote nonsense.

Except for Fox the only reliable news sources are Canada and Israel and that alone speaks volumes.

I hear you! very hard to beat the MSM when the deck is so heavily stacked (95% market share) against common sense.

Stack you forget Governor Walker won 2 elections in 3 years.  The left threw everything at his recall and he still won.  All it takes is for the "silent majority" to get pumped up enough to vote, and they are.  I think Trump will take Wisconsin by a narrow margin.

"I think Trump will take Wisconsin by a narrow margin."

Walker is a moderate and similar to John Kasich in Ohio, but Kasich was never recalled, very popular, and is not endorsing Trump. Is Walker still "absolutely endorsing Trump?

You need to  return your college degree, dear. Slander is verbal, not written. Lie lie lie.  Multiple male lp members told me they were surprised at you sending non family pics of yourself and discussing your body. I saw the pms. I had told you to stop sending me your silly pics. Don't assume strangers are your friends and grow up. Happily married? Yea right. Learn your lesson here and move on. I especially like the line in your pms...you are the only one I am sending these pics too. Lol Grow up. I grew tired of arguing with you in pms. You deserve an Academy award here. You are ridiculous and set all women back 6o years. Your own response is filled with sexist statements and you are clueless. There are many women on LP that I respect tremendously but they have class. Not one of them has ever acted like you.

You were on vacation??? From what??? Time to put you on ignore.

Keep up with your lies because it doesn't mean squat. You wouldn't know anything about being happily married or even being involved in any kind of relationship. You are a sad individual who needs therapy.

Go right ahead and put me on ignore, other LP members are sick and tired of your BS.

Glad you had a good time, I would have been exhausted myself as the climate must have been awesome.

Why are " you people" afraid to go to CNN?  They actually giving Trump free airtime for claiming that the system is " Rigged."  Any other politician would be shut down in a nano second. CNN is graciously airing this claim- as Don King would say " Only In America." Do you not see that CNN is part of the Rebellion? Oh Wait, my thoughts are overlapping after seeing " Rogue One" on Youtube from StarWars.  Sorry..

I can only watch a few minutes of it before the bias overload kicks in, the same goes for Megyn Kelly which is why I no longer watch her.
