That might happen that Utah turns blue.  CNN states that it's even in Utah between trump and hillary.

The Red fortress will not be broken this election nor does Hillary need to. All she needs to do is defend the Blue wall and pick up one or two swing states which is enough of a challenge given how poorly she did against Bernie in a bunch of key light blue states like NH and WI.

From The Fix:  The list of big-name Republicans in Hillary Clinton’s corner just got even longer!  trump screwed up this time.

A few weeks ago, we assembled a list of some other prominent GOP voices who said they planned to back Hillary Clinton in the general election. This list will be updated as events warrant.

Richard Armitage, Henry Paulson, Brent Scowcroft. Three big-name former George W. Bush administration officials in the past few weeks have announced that they are supporting Hillary Clinton in 2016 — all because Donald Trump is simply a bridge too far for them.

This is what it looks like when you challenge power and status quo. Trump is being assailed from every major power structure. Do you not have any level of curiosity as to why this is? You can go along in your make believe world that he is an idiot and that is why this is occurring or you may more rightly conclude that an outsider is a threat to the corrupt system. I find anyone voicing support for Hillary laughable- any honest look at her long-term and near-term history will reveal a list of ineptitude and corruption that is mind blowing in its scope. The Republican defectors that you tout as proof that Trump is so unintelligent that even the Republicans hate him is again ignoring that he is also a threat to that power structure. These a-holes thought they were going to jam Jeb down the throats of the voters- this was laughable from the onset but they went and pissed 100 million dollars away in negative adds to secure six delegates. At least the Republican primary voters were wise enough to reject another Bush-Clinton election; the democrats on the other hand went with Hillary- what a joke.

The only way to get an idea of what percentage votes will be from the exit polls, but if Trump continues to insult five star families, part of the base will be voting for Hillary.

Insult five star families? Khizr Khan, like all of us, is many things. One of his roles was father to Captain Humayun Khan. Another of his roles is a lawyer that most recently focused his practice on securing EB5 visas for foreign born Muslims seeking to immigrate to the US on what has been characterized as a system that is ripe for abuse and corruption. A previous employment stint was with a law firm that has long prepared the tax returns and provided other legal services to- wait for it- Bill and Hillary Clinton. He, and his colleagues, have numerous and long-term ties to the Clintons. By agreeing to speak at the DNC and unleash a withering attack on Donald Trump he decided to become a major participant in the current election. These are but a few of this man's roles in life. So, as Donald Trump clearly stated, we all honor the sacrifice made by his son, and the pain experienced by the family, it is these other roles of Mr. Khan that can rightfully be challenged.  This is not all that nuanced but it is so much easier to fall in line with the Clinton campaign and media narrative. I wonder if you are one of the willfully ignorant lemmings so important to the democrat party's successes or are you just truly clueless as to what is going on all around you.

Enjoyed your posts "long odds". Those who support Obama have absolutely no clue just how damaging "fundamentally changing America" has altered the America we all have known and loved.

Bottomline is that the way things are going now, trump can not win the white house!  All of the poles for trump are dropping.  That is the bottomline!  In most cases, Hillary has a double digit lead.

Another lie from trump, "he saw the video of the money being unloaded".  Why would he say that?  Now today, he stated that he did not see that.  Another lie!

Obama's "health care solution" is a far-right conservative fairy tale. We need to repeal and replace it with real health care for all. His actions on gun control are insane as all he did was all crazy people to carry arsenals onto Amtrak trains. Obama spoke like a progressive but he was a conservative in progressive clothing.

So, you're a real student of history, huh? Certainly there's never been an election result that differed from what polls were showing, even polls that were done much closer to an election than where we are at present. But bigbear has pronounced it so let it be so.

I think this one is different from past history.  Trump has pushed himself away from different groups: black votes, hispanic votes, Muslim votes, a lot of women votes, some of the republican votes, big business votes, wall street votes and now he endorses Ryan and McCain because he needs the votes.  This is different from past history.

                              1.  Blacks...Because he wants law and order?
                              2.  Hispanics...Because he wants to secure the southern border?
                              3.  Muslims...Because he doesn't want potential terrorists coming into this country from terror hot spots?
                              4.  Women...LOL.
                              5.  Big business...LOL.
                              6.  Wall street?  Can you say lobbyists?

Don't look now but the majority of Americans (including the "minorities" you indicate) support what he stands for.  Channel surfed the nightly news last week, it was a liberal non-stop bash attack on Trump every night.  Those polls you cited in an earlier post are skewed.  Look at his rallies, thousands and thousands of people.  Look at Hillary's rallies...No excitement there.
