As far as the election goes Clinton won the popular vote. So as far as who won the election goes, on a lot of people's minds Obama is the President for the next 4 years. And for them to even think about Donald Trump creates anger which is what you're seeing across the country and in the news. It was a shameful election as far as campaigning goes. And Americans, the majority of them, have every right to be upset.

Clinton lost both popular and electoral.  Maybe if we add in the duplicates, fraudulent, illegal etc  one could say she won but

in the real world, I don't think so.

Not much to tell really, patrolman made some rude comments and got his lights put out.  This was back in the

70s.  If a passer by would have saw it back then, they would have most likely shot at the patrolman.  The

county where we lived the sheriff was one of dad's best friends.  Uncle and cousin were both law enforcement.

Come to think of it, the sheriff had quite a few complaints against him for using excessive force

but nothing ever came of that either.

                Mike

My youngest son came by yesterday and told he is going to Iraq.  My-son-in law is in the same unit so I

guess he will be going too but I did not ask.  Maybe they can look out for each other.   I think he said it

was for 9 months this time so not so bad.  He was on his way back from your neck of the woods having

done some sort of training mission.  Kind of a out of the blue, I get a call, "Hey pop, on my way and will be

there in about 5 minutes."  LOL.  Got to spend a couple hours catching up on a few things.  Don't get to

                see him very often.

RL, I know you were addressing the post above to Mike but I had to say..

Catch up as much as you can before he goes and go with him to the airport when he leaves if you can.

He will be busy over there but sometimes the only thing you want is memories and the more good ones,

the better. Some things put a smile on faces and the hours you spent catching up will continue to do that

for him while he's there. It's rough there and though surrounded by lots of others doing the same thing,

it's so easy to feel alone.

I know some have taken offense to being told thank you for your service. But coming from ones that know it's

more than just something they should say and that it's more than just something that sounds right at the time, like

me, I wholeheartedly thank your son for his commitment, courage and service.

Both my son and son-in-law are good men and I had the honor to meet several members of his unit who attended

my daughters wedding, they are all good men and tough as nails.   His deployment is still a few months off and he

will be busy training for the mission until then.  Anyway, thanks for the kind comments.

I'm including all states in the total. And I'm not using Breitbart.com as my source with a map that was merely painted red. She won by over a million. She lost the Electoral vote which is the basis for deciding the winner of course. But she did not lose the popular vote unless you are excluding certain states from your total count.

yes you are correct. we have covered that.
                          question is,
will four million plus signatures on a petition or 1.13 whatever % of the
voters be enough to swing the electoral college rouge?

I don't think it has ever been done before.

Dr65 finally agreed with me that Clinton lost the election and Trump is the President elect, but you'll probably try to talk about it forever. In context of what you're asking, what does " vote for being you" mean?

You need someone to proof read your posts too.

                            What? What? What?

I just wanted the facts from your reply to me. I pointed them out and thanked you just for what I needed from

your post - the facts. I agree with everyone who knows these facts, there is no changing them...they are not

                            opinions.

                            Clinton lost.

                            Trump is the President elect.

Love the facts or hate them, that's what they are...facts and not opinions.

The last time I checked with the adjusted vote count Trump was ahead in the popular vote.  There was a lot

of voter fraud  because more votes were cast then there were people registered in several districts.  The last

count I heard was 3 million.  Hang on to your false hopes but Donald Trump is the 45 president of the United

States.  The two states that put her over the top are areas where there is very large illegal population.
