Hundreds of players are arriving at Lottery retail locations across Maryland to claim cash prizes they won in Wednesday's Pick 3 game.

Initial reports indicate that players wagered $491,000 on the lucky number 777-which paid out $2.2 million in prizes or approximately 462 percent over the games ticket sales last night. The Lotterys total losses are nearly $1.8 million.

Lucky players that wagered $1.00 straight on the last evenings Pick 3 game won $500.00 each.

They do not tell you how much is wagered on all of the trips daily.
Trips are a daily play of how many players out there.

    This doesn't happen in New Jersey.

        What Todd and I mean is that the Pick-3/4 payoffs are pari-mutuel.
