Your Trust Fund...some thoughts
When the govt decided to confiscate the people's gold back in 1933, they knew that they had to give something back in return (per basic contract law). They came up with Social Security as a solution. Loosely, the contract was 'you give us your gold and in return we will provide a fund that you and your progeny can draw from in time of need.' From that point forward, every newborn child was given a birth certificate with his full name in all capital letters....
