Worst US lottery game?
I think that my states game megabucks from Oregon happens to be the worse game. It jackpots rollover at an average of $200,000 a drawing and it can take numerous drawings to get to a nice size jacpot. The last jackpot that was won in our state took 6 to 7 months to get to its size of 21.7 million. It frustrating that we don't have bigger jackpots faster but I guess that's why Oregon has powerball!

New Twist-Old Game KY-xtra cash
CASH,No I don't remember that. But I know Oregon continues to have a Sports parlay card available through its lottery during Football Season. In fact Oregon, Delaware, Nevada, and either Idaho or Montana are the only states allowed to offer any kind of sports betting.

predictions of numbers which will "win"
Oregon draws their Pick-4 FOUR times daily (I'm not sure if they have Sunday draws.) Their game is played differently than our Pick-4 (no Pick-3 in Oregon.) Hopefully NY players will gradually stop playing NY Lotto 6/59 with its terrible 40% prize return, now that Mega Millions is here.

I'm Thinking About Driving Over to Oregon
1. Anyone know when the new raffle starts? 2. What would you buy in Oregon if you had the chance and an extra $50? http://www.oregonlottery.org/games/

__Lotto & Lottery?
I live on the Oregon/Washington border. I play Oregon Megabucks and Powerball in Oregon ... and Washington Lotto and Megamillions in Washington. But, I never play any lotto game unless the advertised jackpot is at least $4 million. Anything less, after taking the cash-option cut and after taxes (mandatory withholding taxes plus prepayment of REAL taxes), and it just wouldn't seem worth it. I rarely if ever buy scratch tickets. And, I never buy Daily this-or-that tickets or specialty tickets.

Taxes on out of state lottery win?
I don't know the specifics for Oregon, but it's always a safe bet that a state with an income tax will collect tax on your taxable income, regardless of where it came from. What counts as taxable income will vary from place to place, but unless Oregon exempts lottery winings or all gambling winnings, it will be taxable income. Some states make winnings in their own lotteries exempt, but there's no reason they would make winnings from another state exempt. As far as notifying Oregon of oyu

travel to buy lottery tickets
Nope. The closest state with MegaMillions is a 5 or 6 hour drive one way. Too far. But if Oregon or Nevada had it, I'd travel when the jackpot was high. I did travel to Oregon a couple months ago when their state lotto was over 30 million. Got a Set for Life while I was there. Oregon only does 6 advance draws and has 3 draws per week on state lotto, so I could only get 2 weeks of tickets. Decided it wasn't worth it. Like Justx, all I thought about was how many more Powerballs I could h

After the Win: Who do you consult?
An example of whom to consult would be found at www.duffykekel.com They are the lawyers I will be consulting in the off chance I win Powerball. (I play in Oregon) If I win Megamillions I might consult someone closer in Seattle but due to the very high Oregon tax rate I would need a pro at Oregon tax law.

Why does this happen over and over again?
Hello All,Just wondering if anyone notices that Arizona seems to be very slow on putting out the lottery #'s..I found it tonight on another site but, was unable to find the Indiana results. The Indiana drawing is held at 9:30 at night.I figure since I'm on the east coast there is a time difference but, it's 1:24 am right now here and still no results and there web page is down.I think there might be some cheating going on with the west side doing lottery draws. Seems like some of these states la
