Why I want my pool to win more than ever right now
Maybe you should try changing your pool, from a PB/MM pool, to a Pick 4 pool instead. You might have more luck winning quicker, by playing a different lottery game. Pool your money to win Pick 4. Just a $20 bet on a winning Pick 4 number in STRAIGHT form, wins $100,000. How much $$$ do you typically play, when you pool ??? The point is, perhaps you should DOWNSIZE from Million Dollar expectations, to THOUSAND dollar expectations, instead. You might win faster, b/c it's easier to win at Pick 4

Group Size Limit...
Many players are spending more than $100/month on lottery tickets and I suspect some of them are in your pool. Don't be surprised if it happen to one of your pool members who brought some tickets on his own. Just don't expect him to share his winnings with other pool members.

Joys of running a lottery pool
I originally distributed the small winnings, but everyone wanted me to buy more tickets, so I started doing that. I've had a few members leave the pool, which did cause me some problems. I had rolled winnings back in from previous drawings that former members participated in, so those former members still had a stake in the pool, even if it was a smaller stake than those still paying in every payday. It took a round of winning no money to finally get them out of the pool.

Joys of running a lottery pool
For the 2 pools that I occasionally play in - both distribute any/all winnings - the thought being that any money rolled forward would be the 'possession' of the pool members from the pool that won THAT amount, and if the pool membership changed for the new date: the people who didnt participate in the pool previously would have no claim to that ticket(s)... and THEN it started getting confusing. So I just nodded my head and went um hmm.... oh... ah... yes of course and took my pennies and ra

How big is your pool?
I run two pools at my workplace. The first pool is for either Mega Millions or PowerBall, depending upon which one has the bigger jackpot. The number of players can vary because we only play when either jackpot has passed a certain threshold. We usually start playing when either game exceeds $300 million. Sometimes there can be 20 or more people in the pool, but other times there have been as few as 15 people. If you're at work, and you want to play, you're in. If you're not at work and we pl

2 pools here at work. Pool 1 = 23 people and 69 tickets (split cost between members, 6$/3tix per member/drawing , pool is closed day prior to drawing to determine total # of tickets bought.) Pool 2 = 10 people and 3 tickets (each person purchases a share of the 3 tickets - true if only 1 person chooses to play that drawing or 50 - this pool only purchases 3 tickets regardless - I was offered to join this pool .60 was my cost to join - other members were refunded dont know how they handle p

You in a Pool that forbids anyone buying tickets " on the side"-However..
I run a lottery pool at work, who am I to tell the people in the pool you can not buy your own tickets? I don't control your finances, I don't earn your pay check, and I sure dang don't sleep with you. I even buy my own tickets, but not when I buy the pool tickets.
