Florida Fantasy-5 Players
The Florida Lottery doesn't make the total take publicly available. But if players use FF5's official rules (which they make available on their website) then the total take can be calculated. Even then, when I've manually calculated the total take in the past, I didn't include the dollars that players spend on EZ Match. (That's because they don't make that amount available to the public) They split the total take 50/50. Half is returned to players via the total winning prize pool and the other h

A word about participating in playing the lottery by being a member of an office pool. First, it's a lot of work for the person that runs it. But worse than that, it can turn into a nightmare even if the pool wins a prize like $50,000. I was in an office pool where I used to work. (I still am in it even though I retired) We have never won a significant prize in the many years the pool has been in existence. Where I worked, there were over 10,000 people working at that site. We heard of ano

Florida Fantasy 5
I just read the game rules, which basically states: 1. For each draw, 50% of the gross revenue will be allocated as the prize pool for payment. 2. First prize (5-of-5 numbers) winning pool will consist of 62% of the prize pool divided equally among winners (plus money carried forward from previous draw). 3. Second prize (4-of-5) winning pool will consist of 10% of the prize pool divided equally among winners. 4. Third prize (3-of-5) winning pool will consist of 28% of the prize pool

Ohio Rolling Cash 5 Number Strategy
During the history of the Rolling Cash5, all 5 winning numbers have hit in as little as the the previous 3 drawings to as much the previous 54 drawings, but 50% have hit in the previous 15 drawings or less. Using only the the previous 15 drawings for the number pool have reduce number pool containing the winning number to as small as 29 some times. Tonight, using that rule reduces the pool to 33 numbers which would reduce the possible combination to 237,336 from 575,757, if that is true tonig

CT Cash 5 - August 2005
When I first started, it was a 14 number challenge...just seemed too time-consuming to come up with the 14 perfect picks. Since it's a 35 number pool, I wanted a multiple of 7 for an easy benchmark over time. Pick 7 numbers, you'll match an average of 1 if everything is random. Match 2 from a pool of 14 numbers, etc. Not that I have anything against a 16 number pool...you'd just have a not-so-round avg match of 2.286.Any reason for the 11 numbers?

four4me,how do you select your numbers? do you first reduce the pool of candidates? if so to what size? a lot of algorithm(wheeling ie), is predicated on first selecting the correct pool size. obviously, this pool reduction is of high importance.I've got a few ideas for pool reduction and would like to see how it works on maryland. if you have the pick history of maryland the last three years(given the game is still the same) in a space-delimited text file with dates, i would appreciate. i'd le

Take5 NY
Thought I'd do a comparison between T5 payouts and Florida Fantasy5's. But before I write anything, I should let everybody know FF5 is a 5/36 game as opposed to T5's 5/39 matrix. FF5's Lower Tier Prizes flat out stink compared to T5's. As you'll soon see, when you play FF5, you're really playing for a jackpot win! Both games are played seven days per week - 365 days per year. Last night FF5 paid out to one winner of the jackpot $197,458. Last night FF5 paid $127.50 to 249 2nd place winner

Very impressive that you still have 20 year old copies of Lotto News Casper! I have to tip my cap to you! And a big thank you to Tique as well. so what are you saying now it might be like 33% or lower that goes back to the winners price? The short answer to your question is: Yes. Here is the long answer to your question: The total amount of dollars players spend per day on Take5 is called The Take . Of the total Take, 50% of it is allocated to the winners prize pool to pay all winners

The reason why FF5 jackpots were so good and lower tier prizes were so bad is due to the percentages allocated to prizes of the winners prize pool. FF5's official rules show 62% of the winner's prize pool is used to fund the jackpot. The second place prize is 10% of the winners pool and the third place prize prize is 28% of the winners pool. The prize structure was purposely designed to provide a big jackpot and lousy lower tier prizes. The Florida Lottery are the one's that chose those allo
