Would you tell or not?
Hi.... After readin the material provided by INTEL , i have decided not to tell and i agree with teufelli about having a ironclad contract ( as long as i can do it using a fake name) about disclosing any large wins. Let me tell you about my time with winning. I did win the jackpot twice in illinois ,playing the little lotto. Sure, the i.r.s. will know....can't get around that. My family, which consists of three sisters and a brother, of which, whom I haven't seen in a dozen years, let alone ,not s

Jackpot ** BILLBOARD ** pics...
Yes, it's that time in the history of MM again, when the Jackpot tops a NEW record. Let's all get our cameras in focus and snap a pic of YOUR state's billboard to capture this unique milestone in MM's reach for the sky. Perhaps between now and next Tuesday, the $1.6b will move even higher toward $2.0b. Be the first in YOUR state to post that pic HERE and help create a SPECIAL PHOTO ALBUM, never before seen at this level. Maybe the the state legislatures of Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Uta

Luckiest States
noise-gate, Wow...Hawaii should really have a lottery! _________________________________ According to some people here at LP the 'luckiest state' is always where the latest jackpot winner is from. If someone from Bottineau, ND hit a jackpot someone here would say, It's always North Dakota .

Would you move to a non income tax state if you won?
If I would move... 1. Wyoming, South Dakota, Alaska Nevada WAS on the list at one time, but I sort of dropped it. Otherwise, stay in Wisconsin unless Scott Walker gets relected. Minnesota is back on the list. I've developed a liking for Hawaii, free fruit all year. Maybe the northeast. Cali was off the list, looking better now..... Maybe Australia, New Zealand, Canada My favorite piece of land is in wyoming. Tax is NOT the number one issue. I defferred my vote.

Honestly would you really care how much taxes you had to pay??
That's a little strong, billionaire2bee. Some here almost died for this counrty, et vous? You don't tell them to go packing, and if you do you are a leech. Considering where you live I'd strongly advise you to STFU. People just want to keep the country we knew and had and not live in a progrssive socialist nanny state. If that's what you prefer maybe you should be the one considering leaving. Or do you really think a jp winner should fork over an extra 8 figues so some D.C. family ca

How much would you spend? [POLL]
ok... win tonight... after all tax burden and legal fees... im figurin' more like 24M$... but what do I know. Dream home. well family would require our current 'family home' to be carefully redone 'and up-to-dated' (central a/c is what my dh keeps yelling from his 'man cave'). fortunately we have indoor plumbing, but updating it would be lovely (we live in a historic home... so there are plenty of 'rules and regs'). that alone - the historic society ok'd updating - done right would cost a
