7 States I Would Not Live In
There are reasons why the other states don't have Lottery.... Alabama- You have to be able to count. Alaska- You can't play any numbers cause ALL the numbers are cold. Hawaii: They think ping pong balls is an appetizer made with a starchy binder and SPAM. Mississippi: Lottery employees and their family members are not allowed to play the lottery. That leaves about 15 people left eligible to play in the whole state. Not a viable income source for the state. Utah: Losing tickets cou

Do U Spend More Than $500 A Week On Lottery !!
I have a confession to make Tiggs. I too spend 300 dollars a day, and make $20,000 to $25,000 a week profit online. I just didn't want to brag about it. Also, don't ask me what numbers I play because I can't show you. And If anyone else asks, I'll just make up reasons, tell long stories, make excuses, and other things that I haven't thought up yet. I'll just play it by ear as the situation arises. So, everyone else who's reading this, I hope you keep working at your job for the next 20 yea

If you won Big: 100 Million+ And you want to help will you consider going abroad...
First i ll like to say that if you win big and you plan to help, the USA needs more lottos and Powerballs, there is only 3 lottos in the world that pay: 100 million+ and above ONLY 3...Now that we have out of the way let me say this: This post is ONLY for the people that want to help...I know you have to win first...Is only a theoretical question... If you won big, big time and you will like to help, help humanity in anyway you can...Whatever the help might be will you consider traveling to o

Seriously, do you REALLY wanna go public?!
Very true. But if you won enough dough get a body guard. See, maybe you don't tell anybody, but there could be a crook working for the lottery commission that could do you in. As for me? I will check into a high class hotel the night I win and live there until I cash my ticket in. You know where to find me. No, I will NOT tell anyone other than my sister, who will also be in the hotel suite with me. As for my brother? No, I would not tell him, he can't be trusted, he can out talk a radio.

39 states and D.C. Have Lotteries
Just my $.02 Tennessee (Baptists), Utah (Mormons) and Hawaii (illegal gambling interests) were never supposed to get any form of legal gambling. Tennessee has lottery now, so that wasn't totally true (how many Tennesse doillars were going across state lines for lotto?) But I'm with ThatScaryChick, I don't think all the states will ever have it (unless we have a national lottery). One reason is the states with a lottery that want to sell their lotteries to private firms- other states

New State Lotteries
Utah - No, Mormons Alabama - Very doubtful Alaska and Wyoming - Population not enough to generate any mentionable jackpots? Hawaii- No- Yakuza, they ruin all the illegal games already and don't want any competiton Nevada - No, the casinos see a lottery as a threat. Mississippi - For right now, no. Same thinking as Nevada, but how many Mississippi dollars go across state lines for lotto (that's what finally made Tennesse give in - Tennesseans crossing state lines to plat l

Off topic: Please do NOT pump gas on May 15th!!
There you go again-chattering, barking up the wrong tree. As though you MUST fill up your tank on the designated day of May 15. As though, you can not fill up the day before, the day after, or even any other day but May 15. There will be excuses and excuses and excuses, if that is what you're looking for. Preposterious(sp.) idea , you say. I say, there's nothing preposterous about not filling up your gas tank on a designated day. It is called making a POLITICAL STATEMENT. A loud and

letting others borrow money
I am floored to hear that these people done that. especially when one brags about how they have the winning way (MAP to the money) and make it seem that they are doing great playing numbers. i never lend my money to others for gambling. and rarely for anything else for that matter. Sure i have helped people out but if they screw me even once i'm done with them. as far as loaning money. i wish i had all the money i have given/loaned to people over the years and never got back. I could prob

Affirmations, mantras and Hail Marys for the lottery
Quote: Originally posted by GASMETERGUY on June 28, 2006 I know!!! Let's have a LP convention so we can meet fist to fist....er....ur....make that face to fist.....no....wait....fist to face.....still not right.......face to face. That's it! Face to face. A hotel in Hawaii, maybe? The people on LP I'd care to meet (including you) have an open invitation to stop in for a cup of coffee, or maybe tromp up a canyon or two. They know who they are. The ones I don't care to meet would be a

states with no lottery
On the casino / legalized gambling side, it was thought that the states that would never have any form of legalized gambling (other than horse races, if they already had them, such as Arkanasas) would be: Utah - because of the Mormons (however, there are Mormon owned casinos! - The Mormons say owning a gaming business is not gambling , the players are gambling) Tennessee - because of the Baptists and Hawaii - because the people AEM running the AHEM illegal games simply don't
