Another Newbie "fun" question...
There was a story in the news some months ago about PowerBall having an usual large number of 5+0 winners because many of them had gotten their numbers from a fortune cookie. It seem the fortune cookie company was working on the cheap and put the same numbers in most of their cookies. The story reported the company had upgraded to an automatic machine that would put different numbers in all their cookies in the future.RJOh

My Fortune Cookie says...
Got a fortune cookie today and it says: Be willing to give the extra effort that separates the winner from the one in second place. Sure, if I win a million in Powerball, I won't be jealous of the person who wins the jackpot. Debt free is a good thing.

PB or MM Quick Picks vs. Your Own Numbers
Thanks for the article! You've had the fortune but did you play the numbers? Maybe you should play it twice. I recently had an odd fortune cookie experience. I was staying at a hotel and as I was getting ready to leave for the day when I saw a fortune from a cookie laying on the bed. It was very odd because we don't know where it came from and hadn't eaten Chinese the entire trip. It says Persistency Pays Off!

You know you're more than just a casual lottery player when...
When you make certain you get a fortune cookie with your meal and then flip over the fortune (without looking at it) to see if you like the lottery numbers.

Fortune Cookie Lucky Numbers.
So I went to a Chinese restaurant that I haven't been to in a long time and when the check came, it came with fortune cookies. Inside it had 6 lucky numbers. One of them is 50 so Super Lotto is automatically out. So I filled out my Mega Millions with one possible combination and I went with my first instinct. Anyways how many of you have played the numbers in your fortune cookies?
