Christmas Drawings
Christmas is now the only holiday significant enough to cancel drawings in the United States (with the exception of Louisiana, the only state to conduct regular Sunday drawings and not draw on Easter, and Puerto Rico, which does not draw on some other days of the year). This is the list of who did, and did not, conduct drawings on Christmas this year. Let me know if there are any changes.
Mega Millions will be conducting drawings on Christmas - they always have been.

Top 10 Geographical Locations
I am modifying your list for traveling numbers because these states have shown to have the same numbers drawn lots of times either on the same day or within a few days of one another. This finding goes way back to when the sun paper used top have these states numbers results listed in the lottery column. The numbers draw will most likely come in boxed from state to state.

In reality, most random numbers used in computer programs are pseudo-random, which means they are generated in a predictable fashion using a mathematical formula. This is fine for many purposes, but it may not be random in the way you expect if you're used to Lottery Drawings.

Should the new Congress set-up a US National Lottery?
Hey there Barista! I lived in Vegas, too (1977-1993) and was there when AC opened, and when we started getting an influx of dealers from AC. They wanted to come and see Vegas and work in it.
Definitley a different breed of cat. They had good hands and could get around a layout, and handle the big action, but had no personality whatsoever, and no clue of the inner game. I remember one guy with one of the best pair of hands you ever saw, but absolutely no rapport with the players. His name was

Playing Lottery in Different states
Ironbelle, here are a couple of thoughts on your topic. Anyone over the age of 18 can play the lottery. That includes residents of another state, a resident of another country, for that matter even those who are in the country illegally can play, win and be paid. There are numerous tax issues, but that is for another discussion that is fact underway on another thread.
The central element in playing another state s lottery is the actual purchasing of the ticket. In a very simplistic ov

Unbroadcast Drawings
I am interested to know what lottery games that are not broadcast on TV. Here's my list so far:
- Virginia Cash 5 Night (they only show Pick 3 and Pick 4 being chosen)
- Hot Lotto, Wild Card 2, 2 by 2
- All Delaware Lottery games (used to be shown on WHYY until 2002)
- Pennsylvania mid-day Daily Number and Big 4
- DC Mid-day drawings (?)
What others?

Time to complain to the Delaware Lottery
Delaware does NOT care about ANYONE who plays its lottery.
The ONLY thing they care about is to use the most sophisticated computerized software that illegally/unjustly/unethically increases its profit margin by scanning pre-selected combinations in the window before the drawing to elude winning combinations founded upon patterns found in randomness!
whew-- I'm out of breath now!
Can I prove this? No.
But do I KNOW this? YES.
Delaware's drawings defy randomness. And if they

Good State Lottery websites
RDC137 from Delaware:
Nice trick, however, you are comparing apples and oranges!! Some states don t tax lottery winnings, some only tax residents, while others tax residents and non-residents. Of course Washington DC would not withhold taxes from non-residents. Washington DC and West Virginia tax residents, but do not tax non-residents, check out the FAQ section of the websites. Indiana, Maryland, New York, and New York City tax residents and non-residents, check out the FAQ section of the
