Why gamble at Online Lottery Sites?
Actually, USA Mega is my web site devoted to Mega Millions and Powerball information - not what I was talking about.I am talking about the links that are under the heading Click a Game to Play , and appear in the left navigation area of every page on Lottery Post.

A year ago,today.....
Litebets27,According to USA MEGA, the Mega Millions Jackpot was hit for $290 Million ($164 Million in cash value) the night before after a nearly two month run. The sole winning ticket was purchased in Massachusetts, but there were also 35 winners of the second place prize of $175,000 in eleven states. The winning numbers were 10-25-38-39-50 + MB 12. I would guess that event brought a lot of hopefuls and curiosity seekers to this site for information.aye'

why only 10 million
You should always check USA Mega for both Powerball and Mega Millions info. It is very clearly spelled out on the Home page exactly how many winners there were, and from where.

Only 2 Days Left!!
Have you entered the USA Mega Sweepstakes yet?I want to be sure all the Lottery Post members have gotten a chance to enter, because 14 lucky people will win free Mega Millions or Powerball tickets. (Grand prize is 100 free lottery tickets.)The timing looks like it's going to be perfect, because the winner will most likely have a chance to get tickets for a $100 million+ jackpot!

Powerball stats updated at USA Mega!
The Powerball statistics page at USA Mega has been updated to separate the draws with the two additional white balls that started Aug. 31, 2005. I know a lot of people have been waiting for the change, so I'm glad to finally get it done. Now you can see how 14 is the most popular Powerball, drawn three times more than the next most popular Powerball, and that the number 6 has not been drawn since May 16th (5 months). The Powerball stats page can be found here: http://www.usamega.com/po

playing straight for 8 years or more
I play my own set of numbers too. I went to USA MEGA and checked to see if they have ever came in 5 out of 5. The answer was no, so I can say I have been playing them for 10 years so far. === === USA MEGA LINK ===

Lottery Post downtime alert - MONDAY, JUNE 11, 2012
This is a heads-up that Lottery Post will go offline at some point today, for about an hour. I'm not sure what time yet, but it will probably be this afternoon. The downtime is related to an equipment move, so unfortunately there is no way to complete the move without the downtime. I'll do my best to minimize the downtime. The downtime will also affect USA Mega. Both Lottery Post and USA Mega will be completely offline. Also, e-mail service will be disrupted during that time.

After a big multi-million win how long would you wait to come forward?
Hi Auntie Pat. Welcome, and great first post. I'm glad you pointed out that the Federal taxes owed on a large jackpot will almost certainly be greater than what is withheld by the lottery commission. I see too many people planning on having the full 75% (less state taxes) of the cash value, and I think that could get a person into deep financial trouble. When I go to USA Mega to see the jackpot analysis, I always calculate 10% of the cash value before I scroll down to my state. Then I sub
