Sounds to me like the author doesn't know much about how lotteries work or appreciate that the results of just 3 or 4 jackpot runs may not be representative. The headline screams that he's missing the clue that even if PB sales were up (they're not) due to MM's price increase it's still probability that results in billion jackpots.

Since you posted this I looked up a literal ton of news articles about MM since it went to $5. Not one article mentioned anything about anyone playing any lottery game having someone pointing a gun at them and demanding that they play MM.

Yes there is and I have written about such a method many times here on lottery post. The method produces 4 digits 1 of which will show up in the next game usually better than 70 percent of the time. I figure most have found it and have also seen how difficult it is to get to that 1 single digit. Then you have about about 56 choices to make from according to BobP. No it's not. I'm looking at a current Florida PB bet/play slip and the highest number in the advance drawings check boxes is 39. It looks like this == 2 3 4 5 6 8 10 15 20 25 30 35 39. I suppose it's possible for a player to tell the clerk they want to play 13 advance draws, and the clerk could possibly manually enter that amount of drawings in the terminal. Anyway I don't care about the circumstances surrounding how that $39

Based on the article it seems that the person who won, won in May 2025 and was waiting nearly a year to cash it in. I don't know what the time limit is on cashing in those winning tickets but having a winning ticket collecting dust for 1 year or being squished in your wallet for a long period of time will probably wear it down....
Additionally you are even more correct...this winning ticket makes EZ match look like even more of a scam!

Re: Worthy causes you mibht want to keep charitywatch.com in mind. I found out about them when reading an article about charities that mentioned the Make A Wish Foundation is a popular and legitimate charity, but so opular that many not so legitimate charitiies use the word Wish in theur names.
