if someone owed you $100...
Accepting $100 worth of scratchers as a repayment of the debt could be risky if the scratchers yield a really big win like a $100,000 win. I read a magazine article where a woman won $100,000 on a $5 scratcher. I could see the person who paid with $100 worth of scratchers harassing the winner for a huge cut of the money. Hell my family harassed me over only a $5,000 win, I shudder to think about a huge win like $100,000.
