DELAWARE LOTTERY...HAS IT BEEN HACKED. THEY ARE UNABLE TO POST WINNING NUMBERS
For several days now the Delaware Lottery has not been able to post the winning numbers on the website for hours. The numbers are not available on the phone line either. The PB and Lotto America results and the Mega results also are not up to date. They are running a continuous message across the screen about the problem, but are not giving any reasons for the problem. The results after each drawing are available at the retailers and no problem with ticket sales, so that must be a separate syste

I found where I read about forming an LLC in another state such as Delaware, New Mexico or Wyoming vs. Florida. (I live in Florida and Florida law allows me to form an LLC in any state) If you live in Florida this info may be of some value to you. That sucks @ them changing it. I was thinking about driving to Delaware to buy tickets because the taxes are lower then my state. But it just never happened. But if they keep raising the state tax. Well perhaps Delaware Lottery monitors this site as tonight the winning numbers from their games have appeared in a reasonable amount of time. However, the messages about problems are still being displayed and the draw results of PB, Lotto America, and Mega still have not been updated. And the results of the day and night draws have now appeared here at Lottery Post.

Delaware has not said anything about what will happen with Lucky For Life yet either, but I was close to their office today and I stopped in and asked the receptionist and she said the game would be stopped in Feb. The states that are dropping probably want to see people continue playing and spending for as long as possible and don't want to have them quit to early if they make announcements now.

Delaware is presently a participant in the Lucky for Life game, but has not said anything about the game coming to an end in February and about the new game starting then. Can't imagine that we would be happy with another $5 ticket game here.

I'm in Delaware and we use play slips. However, I went to VA site and what he says is true....only QPs at retailers. Don't understand that.

Jade, I wish I could remember where I read that it's possible for an LLC to release a big lottery winners name etc, but I can't. And I know next to nothing about state laws as they relate to LLC's in your neck of the woods. I've also read that The State of Delaware is the place where a big lottery winner can request an LLC because Delaware has laws that say they can never ever release the name of the owner of an LLC. (Or something to that effect anyway) In Florida it seems that the

I know Delaware had a lottery in 1980. They started with $1 pull-tabs. Whatever other lotteries existed at that time, it was not possible to win $800 million. Not even close. I agree that the government has a spending problem. It needs to be much, much less. I'm not a socialist. But I also don't believe that lottery winners should get off tax-free, as if they're poor people. That's absurd. Income is income, whether it was a lottery win or a paycheck. No one is going to give the Treasury
