Breaking down the lotto by groups! 6/49!!
can't find one, most member state's FAQs have limited outdated info on when they used the old Beitel Criterion machines instead of the current SmartPlay Halogen ones. What better place to ask than the source? I sent an e-mail to the musl, responses usually take 3 days to a week...FYI if you have a question about the powerball for the MUSL, tou can send it to letters@musl.com ... they seemed to have overlooked a contact section on their updated powerball site...Also, the VIDEOS are updated now t

For those who use draw history...
Every combination has a chance, and the lottery is random EVERY time. Most people who win it either play the same numbers every time (like birthdays) or they win on a quick pick. I have played powerball for years and I looked at the frequently asked questions section of the MUSL website, and the MUSL uses DIFFERENT ball sets for the balls drawn. Now, this would be different, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, if there was only ONE ball set involved and if you only had to get the white balls right (like in th

Clarity Pick3 (Testing State Florida)
Let me ask everyone reading this this question.....How many users are worried that the MUSL or your States lottery people are on these threads??? That in my opinion is a greater issue....not looking for excuses but logic tells me these forums are followed and monitored remember they are a business......the less amount they need to pay out the better for them better profits from sale tickets...giving pointers here you are feeding the wolf with information.Starting to think the less said the bette

Are Powerball predictions random?
Quote: Originally posted by Gatorone on September 17, 2004I have a theory about the machines used for Powerball. It is possible that they are using several machines and rotating them instead of using the same machines over and over. They had a big changeover years ago from the Criterion ball machines from Beitel to the current Halogen machines by SmartPlay. I remember hearing somewhere that it is 4 machine sets and 8 ball sets PLUS 2 machines and 4 ball sets for remote drawings... but it wasn

Lottosync 1.8 Free predictions newsletter
PA Cash5 (5/39), PA Match6 (6/49), MUSL Powerball (5/53 + 1/42)3 number demo of 1.8? sounds interesting. 3 numbers right in the powerball with powerplay pays $14, $21, $28 up to $35... I only play one ticket now, adding another woud be no big deal. If, over the life of the demo (30 draws? 20 draws?) it is right enough to cover 1/2 the cost of synch 1.8, I will break my own rule and buy a copy of synch1.8... you will have succeeded where ALL other vendors have failed... I never did spend a dime on

Listing Pick-3 numbers
bertil, leave the -signs there... follow UCI1's instructions... then when using the excel import wizard, you can choose - as a column separator.there you can also pick the TYPE (date, number, text) of the column data.you could also force-format the cell, or just put into notepad and use find and replace to replace the - with nothing. When I got the data for the PB initially, I used the text file on the MUSL site, opened it with MSWord, sorted by date 'ascending' (so the newest is on the bottom)

something wrong with lottosync v1.6 ?
I think I will try 10 as a starting point for last draws to consider and work down from there... 10 has a MODE value in PB, 5 4 or 3 does not... So the formula operates on the Mode((ModeFull * 7) + (ModeLast10 * 11)) / 18 = my positional pick 7 and 11 are arbitrary for now, need to start somewhere... 2 to 1 just does the average, this gives ModeLast10 a 1.57 to 1 weight advantage. Also trying the Average (Mean)((MeanFull * 7) + (MeanLast10 * 11)) /18 = pickit may work (just like a QP may work, o

the test of a real guru
The way I look at it is, everyone has their own strategy or way of playing. Some people play the same combinations (such as birthdays or anniversaries) or some people play quick picks. But I looked at the powerball website a while back before they revamped it, and the Frequently Asked Questions section said that the MUSL does everything they can to make sure that the game is random. They even take out the balls and weigh them to make sure that they weigh the same. If one balls falls out of s

New breakthrough prediction system
Quote: Originally posted by Guru on September 08, 2003 The random state constantly changes over time. Therefor you would not be able to determine draw 150 for example by starting from draw 1. It is not as static as we would all want it to be.exactly, and if you do need a temporal component, you already have it... the date of the drawing! barring a change in policy from the MUSL, the powerball will always be drawn on a Wednesday or Saturday ,so modifying the initial seed by somehow incorporating
