Two wars, actually. I'd agree with the second question up to a point. We can't forget the contributions of glorious Mother Russia, what with her sacrificing millions as cannon fodder for the German army, marching them unarmed into the teeth of the Nazi guns, using men to clear mine fields by forcing them at bayonet to lead the charge.
